From about 2000 to 2008 I drove dump truck for a landscape company in the Twin Cities South Metro area. I'm sure I've seen that truck in person many times at the various gravel pits, dumps, and landscape supply houses in the area. That's a cool old truck, Stan!

Man, watching you shift that truck *almost* makes me want to get back into professional driving! I do miss driving the big rigs, but I don't miss the stress of driving 53' OTR for weeks on end! And I tried hauling dirt for an excavation company locally and about lost what little sanity I had left!

Stan all new machines are nice the only problem is all the government regulations on emissions def in dirty environments suck.I love that old road boss make a nice single axle dump.

6:05 you closed the bucket tight to the thumb so it doesn’t rattle when you do your spin test. That’s the part that always has the most wear. You can hear it the second you open the bucket after spinning.

Stan I love your videos and your on point 99 percent of the time, but even at 41 degrees I would have let the machine warm up for at least 10 minutes. I can tell your viewers that kobleco builds great excavators, I own and have owned many of there machine all the way up to the 350 model. Keep the videos coming and keep safe.

I don't know about Minnesota but in Texas if it has a farm truck license plate that means the registration charges are totally different and you are not allowed to use it for commercial reasons. Plus you have to have a sign on your truck that says not for hire.

The old dump doesn't even seem that bad, new tires, chambers, headlights, couple seats and fix the door latches be ready to go

The company I work for my boss is hanging onto an older yutani excavator 200 elc it’s just a backup machine at this point with a little over 12 thousand hours on it. The interesting part is this machine still has plenty of break out power. It’s faster than most newer machines some pins are sloppy. The Mitsubishi engine can set for months hit the key and it fires up without hesitation. Very reliable machine still. Seeing your Kobelco going up for sale just thought I would mention the old yutani being that’s what became kobelco or was bought out by kobelco one or the other. Great old machines

If you want a smaller excavator I’d recommend a John deer 35g we have one with long boom tilt buckets hole 9 yards best thing ever for smaller spaces.

Farm plates in Maine anyway don't need inspection or class b to run it with in 25 to 50 miles of farm or can inspect it and drive around further and u get to run off road fuel
