Avengers Training Initiative a brand new show at Disney California Adventure. This show is similar to Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple over at Disneyland "Cheer on aspiring Super Heroes as they are led through a series of activities to measure their readiness to join the Avengers." - Disneyland website

This show is near and dear to my heart. This must've been filmed at the beginning of the run because by September the show was slightly different. I remember the kids having to do the right color in the right slot but I was amazed at how many kids didn't know their colors or either that they were nervous about it. How COOL it is to see some of my FAVORITES from the show. My friend and I had a BLAST with this show over the summer!!! How I MISS them all so much right now!!

Cool! This show is awesome. It really is similar to the Jedi Training (including when the kids are joining in). Since they opened the show, does that mean Black Widow and Hawkeye are also now meet and greet characters in DCA?

Yes they have an armored vehicle that comes out and black widow does meet and greet. They also have a show with Star lord gamora and full grown groot. Groot does meet and greets

Well, coincidentally, the actor playing Agent Crosby was originally one of the Jedi Masters in the original Jedi Academy show over at TLT.

I'm really surprised they don't have Thor and Doctor Strange as part of the season of Heroes for meet and greets. They have the costumes because they had them doing meets for a while before in Disneyland and or Orlando. Even Gamora, Star Lord and Hawkeyes are there for the event and they only appear in the shows but not photo ops

This show is awesome! It's very similar to the Jedi Training, but it's still a little weird seeing Marvel Characters at Disney Parks.

My Becoming Marvel Fan Story: I went the Marvel Day At Sea cruise, I had no idea who anyone was. I got their autographs and began to like them as I got more autpgraphs and other activities. So when I got home I looked up lots of Marvel stuff and became the ultra fan I am now.

khfan4life365 Yep. Disney & Marvel are creating a shared universe with there parks Iron Man was the first, and Guardians of the Galaxy is the second attraction.

My only issue with this is I can't see Natasha ever being so friendly with small children, or so easily knocked out by a normal human. Clint would go straight for an arrow, but I can understand that wouldn't be allowed in a live show. Also, that Zola thing looks like a ripoff Dalek.

Sadly WDW can't use many of the Marvel characters because of past contracts with universal and marvel. They do have a star lord and baby groot meet and greet though

I left the US a few years ago, but did WDW for the week of spring break for 10 years... Universal Islands of Adventure has a Marvel area. According to their contract they can keep using them until they decide to close them. If Universal has a ride for a hero, Disney cannot (Spiderman, Hulk etc - both awesome rides!). That is why EPCOT is getting Guardians of the Galaxy... Universal Studios does not have rights to it.

Much more techno than Jedi Training Academy and more of a storyline too. Both have children being trained to battle evil. Avengers storyline starts to get convoluted and boring. I like Marvel superheroes. I was waiting impatiently for the rest of the Avengers to appear , and they never do. The simplistic Jedi show is better. Kids , with lightsabers in hand, battling Darth Vader and Kylo Ren or Darth Maul is more engaging than throwing cardboard friaries at non threatening looking, robot. .
