In this comparison review, I start off reviewing the 990v4 first. Then I switch into comparing the 990v4 to the 990v3. Either of these two pairs are really great sneakers. However, if you had to choose one, which one will it be?

Great video my guy! I love the look of the v4’s a little bit better. Love em both don’t get me wrong. My 990v2 version series is coming in the mail today. So I’m skipping the v3’s and then go all out on the v4’s🤪. Thanks for the great content, keeps me entertained every time and it’s great to kill time while traveling with the train 🚂. Keep it up bro! Dope review. I’ll be on the look out for those 990v4s. I think you should leave the “version” tag attached to the sneaker. It’s a very minimal addition. I’m surprised that people feel some type of way about it. Plus, it allows you to swap in the red laces. Trust me, the red laces are the way to go with the version series. I’m sure you already knew that lol. To each it’s own. We all have our own personal swag. Rock them how you want to. Later.

990v4s are the best new balance shoes and the best sneakers overall for me personally

I have the v5s and v3s. As someone who has wide feet, I find the v5s to be significantly more comfortable than the v3s, the middle of the v5s feels a lot roomier yet fits like a glove. I prefer the look of the v3s though ;)

V3 and V4 are the best looking silhouettes in the 990 range in my view. The V3 is just such a proportionately perfect without being too over the top.

I honestly don't even care about how sharp the outsole looks because it's gonna be pressed up against the ground anyway. I also much prefer the carbon fibre plate on the V3s just because of that cool factor

Has anyone seen the M900 lx3 i cant find it on the entire internet. Its basically a version 3 990 but entire shoe is a soft leather burgandy no mesh.

@@arielguzman9336 I used to love Boost shoes wore like 6 pairs of Adidas shoes with boost. But since wearing 990 V3s, I've realised that while they're not as squishy, they are more supportive, and cushioned. For me, I find that wearing boost shoes all day leaves your feet beginnning to ache. 990s all day leave your feet feeling just fine.

The version just has the red tag and some of the branding has some red. You also get additional laces and a dust bag. Other than that they’re pretty much the same. The cheapest one is worth buying lol

990 v4 are 💯 more comfortable than V3, i don’t know but v3 feels low quality and no so comfortable! When you compare with 992, 990v4 , 2002r and others!

My favorite 990's in order from best to least: V4's, V1's, V5's & the V2's. I hate the V3's, they just look weird. These remakes of the V4's would be an instant cop if they didn't have the red "Version" tag on them. If the tag was Gray in color and it said "V. IV" on them keeping it simpler i would hop on them

@@guynkicks i already own a LOT of the original V4 colorways that dropped when they originally released on top of the fact I've owned 3 pair of the original gray ones ( i gave a way 1 pair so now i have 2 unworn pairs). I would buy another pair just to keep on ice, i love the V4's that much

I strongly dislike your opinion in many ways. 1. The v3 is the best version I’ve tried so far out of v5 and 992. It’s softer but not as stylish as the 992. As soon as I tried it on I could feel a very soft bounce and I knew it was the one. 2. You claim to love v4 which I’m trying to go for. You owned 3 pairs, gave one away and have 2 unworn pairs…. So did your cheap ass give away your used pair? Bum. Also don’t be copping so many if you don’t wear them 🤦‍♂️ leave some for the rest of us. I’m glad the red tag is keeping ppl like you away.

No scuffs in the suede, no marks on the sole, not even a marking on the bottoms. And who said i dont wear my stuff. Yeah i got some gray 990's on ice but i wear all my other shit. Hell, this is funny, especially you calling me cheap cause i just ordered 6 more pair of 997h and a pair of the 57/40 as a gift to myself for my birthday. I mean, i cant help that i got it like that but if it means anything, imma pray that one day your gonna start making sone real money too

To me the v3 wins. I don't like the simplified lines of the v4. And sadly the v5 followed the same simplified style of its predecessor. Then now that they're close to release the 990v6, sadly following the same ugly design making me feel I should declare the death of the 990vX to me and wish RIP to that model for good.

Yeah I agree the v3 is the best pound for pound 990. Im a fan of the v6 from what I’ve seen. Hope this new design doesn’t sway you away.
