Been looking forward to these coming out & man do they look great, Vongo v5 was pretty close to perfection so I'm expecting great things from v6 plus it's from New Balance & they tend to never suck.

Regarding the main 'stability factors' or 'overpronation resistance' : The foam beneath that "plate" line is tuned a bit firmer than what is above that line. Notice that there is more of that firmer/lower foam along the medial (inner) edge, than on the lateral (outer) edge. Therefore, those who tend to roll excessively inward have a bit of protection. It's much less overbearing than some of the older methods where NB might just add a rock-hard chunk of plastic along that inner (medial) edge, to prevent any collapse, whatsoever. Also, that "plate" is actually something less rigid than most things we would typically refer to as a "plate". Net result is meant to be somewhat stable, without losing (giving away) too much softness.

I got the 1080v13 last night, i had to return them. Very cushiony compared to v12. I don't like that it's too soft that i sometimes lost last stability. I was wondering if i should be getting this instead when i get the refund.

I found a place that has a US13 wide version of the Supercomp trainer v2 in Australia - $320 😮😮 I think I’m gonna order though otherwise I’ll never be able to try them. The 1080v12 wide has been really good but for me - just lacking a little in the cushioning. If it had a few extra millimetres all along it would be really great. Can’t wait for the 13’s.

Yo @HesKicks I’m looking forward to the new 1080 V13 , however I’m a max cushion fan as well, hard to compare these when your daily is More V4 or Super Comp V2 🤷🏼‍♂️. I think that 1080 13 will be the perfect daily like office shoe or daily work shoe , couple more days… but then the MORE V5 will drop and then what 🤷🏼‍♂️ugh … lol New Balance =support and comfort. 👍

Yo! I got the white 1080V13 last night- can’t wait till they ship. After watching so many vids I think that shoe is perfect for a daily wear. But I’m gonna be kickin myself for not getting a super comp v2 🤷🏼‍♂️ idk …
