I skate these but the high tops. Favourite shoe by far and not planning on changing anytime soon! I do change the insoles for some footprint ones and they work well together

I have these in black with double white stitching. I like the N on it. It has a little 3M on it as well. Without the N on the low, it looks like a reebok club C series shoe😂

I skated three pairs of the 440H in a row. I liked them, but they got a little floppy for my tastes after a few weeks. Definitely broke the laces in them. It looks like you didn't skate them long enough to fully judge the durability. 😄

Solid honest review! I've also considered slashing the N off every pair of the 440 highs I've had. I'm on my 5th pair and they're 🤌 but I agree they're not legendary. Prob a better high top cup out there (Trudger) but these are still solid shoes.

I am interested to see what the New Balance Tiago 808s skate like. I’m hoping they are as good or better than the 1010s. They look like they wouldn’t have great board feel. I also feel they don’t really have a dad show vibe.

It would be nice for you to test the straye Logan. Downside is that you have to put insoles.

Hey Christian I think you should review a pair of globe surplus. I really enjoyed skating them, I really liked their insoles.

Do the NM22, the vulc shoes are great with better insoles AND the N logo is recessed holes into the suede not an N patch! They look so sick

Had this model in a different colorway, skated good but I had to give them too a homie after a month of skating them. I have wide feet and they hurt the sides of them, they didn't break in like I thought they would.

Need to know about that etnies windrow vulc or the kayson high also yeah new balances really don't have any break in time and just stay grippy

So interesting, I have this colorway as well and I was thinking of customizing them somehow too ! .

New Balance have that insole issue cause they use the same tech on their running shoes that have more support. Even though they dull out the most of the standard wickening for sweat in the newer numeric insoles, the material feels skiddish and stagnent after sweatin in them. Cleaning out the insoles with water cleans up all the dead skin cells and sweat that thin your feet from skidding but the impact control is not in the insole but the outsole C-Cap construct. I love N.B. for the longevity though. They are the strongest for skating so far that I can tell.

Yeah I have to agree on the Insoles Part it’s not well impact protected like after a month I put FP insoles in my shoe

You should review emerica pillars

I loved 440 highs until i rolled my ankle in them. Since they have no rigid plastic in the heel the mesh and leather get really soft when sweaty and they start to feel kinda like a sock so it gets easy to roll your ankle. They are very grippy, more so than Nike in my opinion.

Being from the DMV area where the New Balance has been highly coveted since the early 90’s, seeing you intentionally cut the N off the side of the shoe kinda hurt

quality of new balance got so bad.. i used to skate new balance for the past few years.. but durability and quality of them is a no go.. they break after a few sessoions.. i had the same shoe twice, the back part felt appart.. stichings are fake, its just for the style
