This week my girls and I got our pink clothes on and we got into a completely packed theater to watch the movie ONE DAY early!!!

OMG!!! I have had the best Barbie theme week!!! Wore all her costumes, did 10 hrs worth of dance improvisation based off of the movie and tried all the Barbie specials at bakeries here and had a Barbie slumber party last night

I Made several times purple pasta sauce using beet for my host kids and honestly they loved it, beets don’t really have a strong flavor they are just a little sweet and if you sauté them with some onion and then make it a purée and combine with the Mac and cheese they are delicious

Definitely had a few dirty jokes my little ones didn’t get. My teen and I however were laughing so much. Also beet mac and cheese can taste really similar to the regular! Just add slightly more cheese, black pepper and and make sure u strain the beet purée and it tastes really good!

the movie was pg 13 so it was not meant for young kids which is weird since the movie is made after a kids toy
