It's actually a one shot kill to the upper body up to a certain range 💯

Enemy was probably clipping into him from behind. I've killed team mates like that in previous titles plenty of times.

Okay, someone PLEASE help me out here. There are players in these clips throwing their C5 halfway across the map. On a good day, I'm lucky if mine doesn't land between my feet no matter how I throw it. What's the trick?

Most of the time, it's just clips of pre nerf C5. In season 1 or 2, idr, you were able to throw C5 around 25 meters effortlessly. It's long since been nerfed. If you want to increase throw distance, aim at a 45° angle and sprint jump.

It was a gamemode from the recent event. It had a modifier for increased projectile speed. Its not a clip from season 1 or 2.
