Hi all, it appears there is an audio encoding error in this video around the 9 minute mark, ending at around 12mins when the first turn begins 🙂 We usually balance our audio for around -36db for background music, and around -3 to -6 for voices, so apologies for that, not sure quite what has happened there, but rest assured its 1) Not normal, and 2) only for a short period of time 🙂

Excited to see these battletomes. One piece of feedback - the noise levels with the music was all over the place. I had to turn the video up to hear the people, and then way down whenever the music kicked in.

Interesting. Our audio is balanced for standard broadcast output on speaking (around -3 to -6db), with the transition music at around -18, so shouldn't have been that jarring. That's our standard levels and have been for some time now, but will look into it 🙂 Do you have a particular timestamp as an example?

@@tabletoptactics Throughout the video, the background music is much louder than the voices. Hard to hear what is being said unless the music quiets down before it picks up again in the loop

It definitely shouldn’t be louder than the voices, as we set the db manually, and it runs around -3 for voices and roughly -36 for background. However there are some bits which do seem louder on particularly high volume (we mix with an assumption of around 50%), so will look into a rebalancing of the background tracks 🙂

Thank you for the video! I think the GW missed a bit with the "corpse empire." Concidering most of the time, Soulblight leaders are vampires it should be "Vampire Empire"!

The Blood Knights are in the (extraordinarily long) painting queue. The Skeletons we'll look at replacing eventually, but for now these are fine, and that's money better spent elsewhere, like other armies such as Lumineth 😅

Love this AoS coverage, thank you! Great video. The background music is very loud in the first 10ish minutes making the discussion a little hard to hear in parts. Love your AoS battle reports, it's my go to as an AoS player!

Appears to be an encoding issue with the audio for about the 3mins of the Deployment up to the start of Turn 1, rest of the game seems fine after the game begins properly, but will investigate further

We don't currently have an Overlords army ready yet, but it's on the cards! As for Narratives/League, these are definitely something we're going to explore, but we need a lot more variety in our armies (both in terms of factions and units) before we approach them 🙂

I might be wrong but I think the soulblight rule is that you pick 3 units total to heal, not 3 for each hero/each hero also heals. Maybe I misunderstood the way you were playing but it seemed like you were healing more than 3 units

It says you pick up to 3 units in range of a hero, not pick one hero then pick 3 units in range, is my understanding. It could do with an faq to clarify, as I had to read it several times. If it is only 1 hero, it's pretty rubbish, especially since the previous version was every single hero got to do it still

@@tabletoptactics i'm not sure if we are getting crossed wires.. You get to pick 3 units total. "Pick up to 3 friendly summonable units within 12 of a hero". So they don't have to be within 12 of the same hero, but it isn't that each hero gets 3 heals. So yes it has been nerfued quite hard, but also there are more ways to add to it now. So bigger heals on fewer units.
