I got a set of these scales from Tony, they are very well made. If you don't want a 550 cord grip, you can't go wrong with Tony's scales.

I just talked to him this morning and looks like he's willing to work with me so thank you so much for the video and getting this outfit on my radar! I love skeletonized knives and integral knives the most! This Cruwear Adamas and the sheath seem very appealing to me and I thought all the things you showed in this video are inviting and have a lot to offer!

The orange scales would make this into a viable hunting knife. I’ve lost a fair share of hunting knives so I only use orange handled knives nowadays, like my new Benchmade steep country

I own the Adamas 375BK and now the 375BK-1, both knives are really really good. The D2 version shows how good D2 steel can be, great heat treatment, tough and this with 60-62 HRC. The CPM CruWear version is crazy good, CruWear is a crazy tough steel and this with 63-65 HRC. I have to get this handle scales, especially the blue ones are wow.

These Scales are Awesome! Personally I like the feel of the Tree Bark Micarta over the G 10. But both are very nice and the blade feel Super Solid! You will not be disappointed!

That Cru is 10x better than d2 with a perfect heat treat. You should do a little research on your blade steel before talking about them. Just a thought.

Different question. How did you end up with 5 Benchmade Adamas? I understand that one would maybe have 2 if its your favourite knife or you found a really good deal.

No verdict on D2 vs Cruwear? Bro. D2 is a mid level range and can be good with heat treatment. But Cruwear is a supersteel that is a competitor to cpm 3v. D2 is not even in conversations against those giants of steel.

@@jmn-5554 Exactly the point. A WW2 steel that did good for its time. But now we have new technology where you actually gotta gid gud at sharpening because of how hard the steel is.

its not just the steel, its the geometry, the heat treat, and the blade grind, and final edge grind. D2 by Benchmade on these Sibert knives made for the military have really performed amazing well, I am assuming that Cruwear will also do well, but they just dont have time time in the field as long as the D2 version. Time will tell.

@@Sweetknives Time doesnt tell its already been tested a lot already and you already speaking of which I know. If the geometry and blade grind is the same. Of course the heat treat is right. It all comes down to the better steel. Its been out not by years but quite long enough by many who already tested it. Its equivalent again by cpm 3v standards to some parts better. So no D2 aint got the upper hand on this. Older doesnt mean better. I have the the Cru Wear version and it even beats out some of my Bark Rivers and TRC in supersteels.

The TP scales look awesome but $500 seems a bit much. More than double the price of knife. Nothing currently listed but would like to see a lower option than $500.
