New Benchmade 945 Gold Class First Impressions. The Mini Osborne 945 is a cool little edc knife that I already own. Today I had the chance to check out this years 945 Gold Class which is a much more premium and expensive version. The Gold Clas line doesn't always appeal to me plus they are pretty pricey but I never turn down the opportunity to check one out for myself and the channel. I would love to hear your thoughts on Benchmade's Gold Class line of knives, do you think they are overpriced or priced according?

@@CNYKnifeNerd It's overpriced because the only things different about Gold class Benchmades and base model Benchmades are the materials. It's still a Benchmade, which is nowhere even close to Reate quality or even Spyderco quality (not that Spyderco is low quality. Just comparing US brands). Imo, none of the Gold class knives look good including this one: the bolster and general theme of this one makes the knife look like an Amazon special for $40

@@CNYKnifeNerd When people complain about the price it’s because they can’t afford it to begin with! 😂 And while Benchmade isn’t the perfect quality, it still is a quality knife no matter what some troll says! One can argue, why spend $400+ on a Reate/WE when it costs only $10 bucks to make in Chynuhh! People also fail to consider that it’s a knife that isn’t going to be permanent produced and wether they like it or not, there’s a thing called supply and demand! Gold Class models also hold their value! Look at the Gold Class Bugouts! Just dumb logic! Why drive a Ferrari when my Nissan Sentra gets me from point A to point B?! 😂 Why though? Because some people can afford a $700 knife and it’s their money to do with how they want, PERIOD!!! I never comment on anything, but some of these comments these trolls post deserve an answer like this! 🎤 drop! 😂

It is really good looking for sure. I think the price is a little steep. If you can get the standard version of the knife for under $200 I don’t see why it can’t be closer to $500 for this one. $700 just seems a little high to me

I think they should have picked a more popular model. 945 has fans but I doubt it’s the most popular. The knife is bougie but it’s a bit overpriced for what on offer. Needed more value if they didn’t want to drop the price.

The one I own I changed a few things. First I replaced the lame pocket clip out for a titanium blue anodized mini deep. Second I also ordered ( have yet to install it) blue anodized back spacer I didn't like the gold spacer at all when I finally recieved the knife and I can not for the kife of me understand why Benchmafe made a dang good looking knife and then slapped that ugly @$$ pocket clip on this awesome looking knife. I also to the horror of some people carry this and use it. These are limited/unlimited. They will just keep making these and selling them until the orders slow down. Unlike a few other Gold Class that are limited only. I have a limited gold class Foray and it is numbered *** out of .I really like the Foray and the inlay. That being said this 945-221 is a much nicer looking knife however..

The pattern on the clip side looks like paper cut out snowmen holding hands. The bolsters would look better orange peeled I'd suggest. ✌

Nice looking knife, but nowhere near worth $700. $350-$500 max. Benchmade is smoking crack.

It’s probably just me but this color, in both the ti ano and the carbon fiber, just looks… cheap? Somehow? I don’t know. It’s too bright.

I don't like it. I feel like with the blue bolsters and the fat carbon and the gold it just looks tacky. At 700 bucks I would expect a better knife than that.

I agree. The bolster honestly looks terrible. If they made the entire handle out of shred gold CF or just black Ti with the backspacer, the entire thing would look *way* better
