I deeply admire people who believe that to work for a living is a virtue.....in my opinion, few things are more patriotic.

Its good because so may kids these days arent following in the place of the family farm and it just kills me my grandfather retired when i was too little to take over dad didnt want to farm and i wouldve gladly taken over in a heartbeat

I saw that too! It reminded me of my childhood. Its great to get kids hands on at a young age even if he decides he wants a different career path down the line, hes learning invaluable skills and to not be afraid of work and figuring things out.

You're right. Always lift with your back. Try and be as awkward about it as possible and bend your back in as many difficulties directions as possible too. It helps alot if you drop it directly on your foot too. It feels good.

Hey Zach. Not sure if you’ve seen me ask this before but I think it would be really cool if you put the dates that things were filmed at the first scene of the day. As someone who has family farming in central Minnesota (Paynesville area) I think it would be cool for everyone to see what days your doing what with the weather !

It's so encouraging to see a young man like Onyx being given responsibility that many adults never take on. Our future is in good hands. I was put on a 4010 John Deere at his age and was on top of the world.

The art of unloading that Mandako tillage unit is a lot easier then the art of unloading an 86ft Bourgault air drill and not breaking anything.

I love seeing Oynix (sorry if I misspelled it) working on that Mandako. I work on older tractors and farm equipment, and I have dropped many bolts on the ground. Just gotta learn. It is ok if you aren't a pit crew on the first day. Rome wasn't built in a day! You are learning, and that is what matters!! Edit: Other spelling.

I just wanted to thank you guys for that off the husk podcast about carbon credits. It puts me to sleep within about 7 minutes every time. I’ve tried everything but that podcast is the best for insomnia. Get the word out to anyone that can’t get to sleep. It is the best. 😂

What a great dad!!! I so wish I had spent more time with my son allowing him to help/learn how to work on things!!! (Also teaches them how to be a good man as well ;-) Congrats on the new machine!!! Makes my little MF 1250 look like a toy!!! (But it works great here in western NC with all our hills, those larger machines tend to tip over...) Warmer weather is on the way!!!

Watching you unload the mandago reminded me of loading 955 and 956 mocos on step deck semi trailers built a pair of 10 foot ramps and with one pin pulled they could be colapsed enough for transport

Gettin busy now!! Love it!! I am especially impressed with Onyx!! He is becoming a real TEAM member. He's quiet, but he works well from what I see. I'd sure want him workin on MY team. Love to see you giving him more and more responsibility. Even better to see him handle it the way he does. Keep at it Zack. Like I say, ANY skill or knowledge you can put in your children's head, will serve them the rest of their life!! From my experience, working WITH my son on life, helped us both to cope with it. Amazing on the evolution in farming equipment but it still takes hard work and dedication to come out successfully in the end. The way things are today made my days on the farm like working with a team of horses.
