Firstly, I think acknowledgment of how well your bike matches your gloves is in order. Or do the gloves match the bike? Secondly, have you ever run trails? I used to do a lot and think a lot of how the two compare or when will I ever get faster on bike (overall up and down tech trails) than I was running. I would love to see you ride some trails with runners and see how that pairs. The funnest part of running downhill on trails is the flying over stuff like a deer .... which a bike does without all the jarring on the spine. But the faster I ran the funner it was so I think that is why there is a "need for speed" in trail riding .... at times.

I wondered what that guy said had to rewind it and I’m not quite sure “you’re missing my line“? It would’ve been interesting to follow him on that skinny. You might’ve got an interesting video of someone falling off or something. Seems like he was over his head on that trail, but was courteous enough to pull over for you. I don’t know if the bell would’ve been too much, but I think it was apropos there.

I heard "you're throwing me off", which sort of makes sense right before the long bridge there. I can sort of understand where he's coming from... but it's also clear that Dale is going much, much faster than him, so I think the pass makes perfect sense.

With that being said, like I mentioned, it would’ve been cool to watch him try that feature! And, quite frankly, I don’t think he was thrown off by Dale. He was thrown off by just riding! Dude was in way over his head, he’s the type of guy that ruins trails by breaking too hard.

So far I'm really enjoying it. There's no substitute for raw travel numbers, but this is the best 145mm platform I've tried!

Which size are you riding ? Had a testride on the highlander 150 but the new reach numbers are not optimal for me.

I'm riding a medium. It took a few rides to get used to the slightly longer reach but overall it's now a positive.
