Def needs a carb clean and sync, prob new plugs and a compression test. That thing does not sound healthy.

Mine had to have new rubbers in the CV carbs, then it ran really well

I had a purple and black, with the gaudy stickers, GSX600F years ago. One of the most underrated bikes ever; reliable, cruise at 90 mph all day and still gave 60 mpg.

The white is just wrong, its screaming for a special paint job, The mirrors are just wierd. I got a black with purple 600f same year. 15.000 at the moment, I got the feeling i can ride it for many years to come, I love the 90ies style, I like it even more than the hypersport style modern motorcycles.

@@gordiem10 its air cooled. Its better to not let it idle. Just a couple seconds and go.

Not bad for a older sports bike they still fit in with the newer bikes pretty good and keep up ok for what they are

This bike's styling isn't 1990s at all, it's from the 1980s and also was introduced in the 1980s.

My friend got a bike almost just like you ,it's just the 1992 katana version ,and it's black : TopSpeed Unknown =] (265+ kmph)

i have same bike but its 1988 can i use bandit parts like the cdi unit? coz its hard to find parts in my country
