A new charger variant for the terminid has been leaked, as well as another enemy that was in the previous game, helldivers 1.. The Impaler. We go over these leaks, as well as potential mods for weapons, and much more. We also discuss the current state of warbonds, what the devs said to a member regarding quality of content, a hint at maybe price changes? We also mention the state of players dropping off, briefly in the video, and what this means.

Helldivers 2 (stylised as Helldivers II) is a third-person shooter developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game is the sequel to Helldivers, a 2015 top-down shooter. It was released for PlayStation 5 and Windows on 8 February 2024. It received positive reviews from critics and sold approximately one million units in the first three days since release.
Unlike Helldivers, which is a top-down shooter, Helldivers 2 is a third-person shooter. Similar to the first game, players are able to select Stratagems, air drops players can call during missions, which include cluster bombs, sentry guns, shield generators or supply pods containing limited-use special weaponry. Friendly fire is always on. The game's Armor system is inspired by real firearms fired against armoured targets. There is multiplayer with up to four players. It also provides a cross-play feature between PlayStation 5 and Windows players. In the initial days of the release, gameplay involved human observers at the studio influencing gameplay in real time.

The fans really need to calm down. They're a small team at Arrowhead and in recent years the whole gaming community has gotten toxic, like spoiled children with their behavior. The KZfaqrs aren't helping either, since a good number of make videos about the negatives only.

Real like it's fair to throw criticism at something you think is off or wrong about a game you care about but it feels like so many people have the most unrealistic expectations over the games they play and I agree too I'm so tired of copy paste content creator personalities blowing everything out of proportion just to get more clicks

EXACTLY THAT MAN, PREACH! One thing I will say is, to many people shed negative light on this game, they did well compared to most in the early stages, and you know what? iv seen so so many people slate this game, they are small, thhey got alot of success which they was not expecting (and well deserved), people do need to calm down, thats why I always try to shed positive light on these situations. I am going to be spreading managed democracy no matter what, this game is awesome, full stop. And yeah, now days to many people complain bro, dont matter what you do, you cannot please everyone! :D

@@Anti-Greg Yup, sometimes I feel like im the only one who try's to shed positive light, ashmongold whatever his name is, pretty much said he did not see this game going anywhere, not been with it, then makes a video basically sheading more negative light on it, The only opinions that really matter atm are people who have been here since day 1, who have seen everything for what it is, the highs, the lows, and if you have been here since then, you know arrow head have come suchhhhhhhhh a long way, I respect them for it so much. I love this game :)

I will always try my hardest to shed the good and the bad, facts speak for themselves, however? Me, being a day 1 helldiver, I know as well as you who is reading this comment, how far arrow head have came for being a small studio. I love this game, I think to many bigger youtubers shed to much negative light on certain situations without knowing everything. I will, always, try my hardest to be as genuine as I can, I am never subject to one side, since theirs always alot at play.I know arrow head are doing a sick ass job on this game, and as long as they keep moving forward, I will keep spreading managed democracy. Helldivers never die.

Great game but they need to fix the evac citizens mission because we spent 10 minutes amassing an army of citizens that just stopped running halfway there mission unbeatable Please someone get this known

@@ShanePlaysTV thank you! when Helldivers started disconnecting, leaving the remaining to fend off automatons on all fronts, we fought till we ran out of ammo and the whole mission went up in 500k bombs. Nothing more heartbreaking knowing you couldnt do anything to save the citizens because they stopped running 10 feet from the door . But the screams shall haunt forever

I chose to see Shams’ message as a price decrease being implied, cause the viper commandos isn’t really a full warbond’s worth of content. Allegedly it has more polished content, but tbh it’s just a reskinned liberator and a new secondary. If that’s the warbond model they’re using now, a price decrease would be reasonable. However, there is the possibility of future warbonds coming with some sort of stratagem, which would sorta justify an increase by like 200 credits. If we get a whole new page of a warbond, 500 more credits at least. But only if the content within is good. There shouldn’t be a set price for warbonds, it should be adjusted based on the stuff in them imo. I don’t really like warbonds in general, I bought like two and none were able to convince me to grind more credits. I’d rather see more free content that makes the gameplay more varied for everyone. New missions, new enemy types, that kind of stuff. I know that arrowhead has to earn money with paid warbonds, but a free one like Helldivers Mobilize would be nice to see in the future, like six months from now

I agree with you on par with that, the latest warbond, you are right there, Because it is not a full bulk worth of content, if we got a decrease though that would be amazing! Mate, a stratagem being included in a warbond is not a bad idea! would encourage players to actually grind to get them, but being behind a pay wall could cause some to get nitty, but its a good idea! You make alot of good points here man, love the long messages! :D

I mean, they are if you dont have alot of time, alot of people work, and have day jobs, so it can be hard, if you spend a good day grinding, farming, its not to bad, however to actually play each match through, and gather everything, when you are not always guaranteed super credits from pods, it can be long. Depends on the time you are willing to put in, legitimately I mean, not just farming

@@DZA3051 It depends on the time you can commit though, everyone spends time differently, if you grind for super credits, it can be fast, if you play normally, the game properly, without ''just going for super credits'' it can take alot longer, I dont wanna play that way, it takes the fun out of the game

They also hinted at major updates and the new faction for mid July yet they are now taking a break. Tbh the game is already dead. I think at this point they want it to die to make the game they want to and get Sony off there backs. Either way I'm out. Also the other 400+ k people are out, not that most of em had a choice aka Sony bans lol

Yeah the sony bans had a major impact, I mean I like this game for what it is, yeah new content matters, but I love horde style shooters, its my thing so I dont mind wating. The flow of new content helps a tone though, I agree. :)

Helldivers is fine the game was created and designed for 10k players max AT LAUNCH! It's initial explosion all the way up to 12 million sales and 800k concurrent players was nothing less then a ridiculous completely insane and absurd overkill and they held that for months, as soon as that happened the game became a tremendous undeniable success and even now when helldivers is quote un quote 'dying' it has four times the concurrent player base it was ever supposed to have arrowhead is not concerned because they are very much in the green to those complaining that it could have been more don't realise that the game was niche in the first place it was never meant to be for the common consumer because as far as the average normal horde shooter formula goes helldivers is absolutely terrible your guns aren't overpowered blowing through enemy hordes you don't get regenerating health your guy gets killed in one or two shots like a regular person actually would, there's no customisation in the fact that you can't colour your armour in random fucking colours because they have uniformity they don't have endless FOMO seasons to keep people forced to come back, it's a niche playerbase the average COD or battlefield dude is here just to blow up shit and feel like a badass when the whole point is that you're not a badass your a regular dude who's going to go die for Super Earth, so people weren't gonna like it because it too hard and then combine that with the second biggest gimmick of the game which is the Galactic war the d&d style narrative community influenced story if you aren't into that then realistically you're just going to get bored of shooting things, killing things and then dying to things in the repetitive gameplay

You make some great points man! I agree with you 100%, I love horde style shooters, they can be repetitive, but I like those games, that's why i like helldivers 2, its my thing. So many people expect to much, especially in the early stages. I back helldivers because its a game I genuinely like to play, I wont ignore facts because they are their for a reason, but sometimes you have to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. A lot of bigger creators jump on the band wagon for views, that's it, when they dont know the reasons to why theirs a decline, it dont mean a games dying, theirs other forces at play. I love this game, and will continue to, as long as its updates :D

Super credits are not hard to grind. If you put the game on trivial you and 3 friend just run around the map in 2 min and grab al credits. I think everyone is too focused on new guns and new warbonds, honestly I would much rather see variety in missions. The structure is here now switch up the activities. VIP escort mission, defend the moon or mars in a defend mission when the enemies finally break through, a mission where you have to take an experimental bomb in the centre of a bug hive (so a huge spiral down into the earth fighting your way in and then dropping bomb and remote control it from the extract ship. The missions are becoming stale and repetitive, even if we had stuff to grind for it still feels the same. More mission types!

As I said to a previous comment, alot of people work day jobs and cannot farm super credits all the time. If you farm them, like just go for super credits and dont play the game properly, hell yeah you can get them quite fast, but you are not always guaranteed them in pods, if you play properly tho, it can take a little time, depends on how much time you have to play, if you work alot, this can be alot harder. By the the way, i like your ideas on the missions, THAT WOULD BE SO SICK!!!!!!! Give me that. :D

I have done tests, and found more people like it than not, it depends on what the mass majority wants, its all tests, trails and errors. I am always experimenting. Sound design is important, what works works, what dont, dont. :D

The only thing that keeps me from playing right now is the helped glitch I dunno if I need to redownload my game or what but it just won’t let me get in a game but still enjoy helldivers a lot stop worrying about the lack of updates they are cooking enjoy the game and sweat so the other divers praise you

Exactly, I am still playing, to many people look into things to much. I have enjoyed this game for what it is, because I like it this way, I love horde style shooters, big fan, and yeah they can be repetitive but that's my thing. You cannot ignore the facts, I always look beyond everything, and subject myself to everything as a whole. Best way to approach anything in life. I know arrow head are small, and they have done an amazing job so far, people seem to forget that they are, maybe they expect so much because they got so much to begin with?? I am a day 1 helldiver, iv seen the ups, downs, and I will say this? this is just the start, not the end. :D

@@BLOATEDNGOATED aye bro keep the positive mindset. Slow growth is good. Fast success builds ego, slow success builds character. I haven’t blew up yet. But sometimes it can be a good thing. Sometimes you have to go through rough patches, and slower growth in order to be ready for an explosion. But growing slow, at a steady pace and still reaching goals is one way forward 👊🤝
