No. I have been on HST services to the North in the early 90's which originated from Southampton.

Seeing an HST full stop is very unusual on lines than run into London Waterloo. The normal Franchise operator is South Western Railway......but thankfully they won't be in charge of the Blue Pullman should it ever come back into service. I imagine it will be a operated by Blue Pullman themselves. Is there such a company??? ....if not there ought to be. The original Blue Pullman was 1st Class only....imagine an entire train made up of 1st class carriages with 1st class service! - like Concorde on rails. I think it would be a 1st class experience!! .....trouble is these are not the times to think about bringing back such a luxury train service. So it may never see the light of day. But just watching a 'test' run is pretty special in itself.

You are correct, they did upgrade the headlines in the use of LED lights and a noticeable light at the top of the cab

I Only found out yesterday train's in the UK are no longer required to have yellow end's as from 2018.
