It’s basically an updated version of Minecraft dungeon’s mossy skeleton! This time with its own model, behaviors, and sounds! It’s also been balanced a bit as it shoots less often and has less health!

I am starting to feel hyped for minecraft again this is sick, more mobs and small and big changes that are actually going to effect my survival gameplay. Im so glad they actually changed the skeletons with the arrows in their hands into these bogged versions. I think they should add more variants for each mob in the game, like others have mentioned take things from minecraft dungeons and apply it to the base game whilst changing it to fit the sandbox style of minecraft. 😎😎😎😎😎

The design is great! I hoped they would bring mossy skeletons over from Dungeons but this may be even better! Still hope mossy skeletons make it the main game soon.

Honestly probably the first good mob in a while (I myself like the glow squid, but I know others don’t). Swamps needed their own mob and this is a good one, plus it seems pretty balanced

I think the Bogged is neat new hostile mob considering that he’s a reference to the mossy skeleton from Minecraft Dungeons.

It actually makes sense that it has less health than a normal skeleton because the swamp water probably made the bones deteriorate

I find it odd it has less health then other skeletons since its model has shoulder pads made of swamp vegetation. Maybe 22 hit points (11 hearts) would make more sense. The other stats are fine though.

I have a theory about the bogged that it once was a villager or wandering trader before sinking into the mud and eventually turning into the bogged

i feel like they should leave the hp at 20, it was prob to nerf them but players are getting better anyways

I'm thankful they nerfed it with less health and a longer cooldown than skeletons. I don't mind it too much now.

It's okay...I don't mind retextured existing entities, but at least put in more effort than changing the health and projectile data (tipped arrow). Think of it as a Stray, just tweaked a little and retextured. Again, I usually don't mind, but I feel there should be some unique traits. Maybe this entity has a small change to resisting some of the player's attacks? Anyway, that's just my take on it.
