I was introduced to Teddy’s Button at a convention. Lamplighter had a stunning booth there. Their books are vintage in character and all the while modern. 🌻

Summer is the time I push the reading for my kids that is for sure (of course my oldest I never have to get her to read but to put books down and get her other work done 😂) Thanks for sharing this great book haul Shauna 💜

We just finished Trumpet of the Swan, which my two bigs adored. From Lamplighter, I read Basil to my 8 year old son a year ago and it was impactful to both of us. Thanks for the book haul video!

I was unfortunately never a reader growing up but one of my favorites is The Little Prince. It’s so deep. But that book you’re giving away sounds amazing. I want to read it!! Lamplighters is on my list of future read alouds!

Looks like so many great books. Mary Jones and her Bible is on the top of our list to read! A favorite read aloud from our year studying ancient history was A Cry From Egypt.

I would add, you MUST read Tip Lewis and His Lamp. It’s is hands down my favorite (until my next shipment anyway 😆… every month it seems I have a new “best ever favorite”). It teaches about evangelism in an amazing way and makes you want to stay in the word!

I got rid of the Tv before we had kids but we’ve always had streaming!!! I just only allow certain videos!!! My youngest boy doesn’t watch it at the moment as he watch stuff I didn’t agree with!!! Basil sounds awesome!!! I love the idea of fireside readings!!! We are in the tropics but we sit round a fire on the beach!!! I love the story of Mary jones!!! We often discuss the differences between a head and heart klownege!!! Sorry I can’t spell!!!

As of late, my favorite book has been a pre-read for my almost 9 year old daughter, it's The Wild Robot. It was a quick and easy read, it was interesting and sweet. ❤

I think a homeschool mom on YT had shared about it once and I was apprehensive because generally I don't bring modern books into our home but....there was something about it that seemed like it might be worth the risk and I am glad that I jumped. There was nothing inappropriate, not heavy on any kind of propaganda. Just a simple little story.🙂 Thanks so much!

Thank you for your videos. I love the content you share. Also thank you for the giveaway. So my son who is 7 has a favorite book. The Mouse and the Motorcycle. He loves it so much. My favorite book that I have read with my son this year has actually been the very first Boxcar Children book. We have actually read several of them and I just found the very first one. I enjoyed reading how their journey began.

We LOVE The Mouse and the Motorcycle! They also have a movie of it on prime if you haven’t seen it. It’s older but still fun.

Basil is AMAZING! My 10 yr old will be reading it when he finishes Teddy’s Button. I’m hoping it encourages him in honesty, as he’s struggling with that right now. A Faith That is My Own- another great one. I’d like my 14,yr old daughter to read it.

I have been wanting to order Lamplighter Books for years, your videos sharing them has made that decision expedited. Heheheh! They look so beautiful and I just love the stories' themes. Which one has been your most favorite that you've read so far? And which has been your children's favorites?

I’d say for me either Tip Lewis and his Lamp or The Wonderful Door. They both made me cry in a good way. For my son he loves The Giant Killer (that one was really good!) and my daughter’s is Teddy’s Button and they both agree The Wonderful Door as well! I hope you love whatever you get from them.

Tip Lewis and his Lamp is tied with The Wonderful Door and my third favorite is probably Teddy’s Button because I picture my toddler as Teddy 🤣 they’re all such wonderful stories with beautiful lessons.

I seriously don’t think you can go wrong with any of their books. If you get their catalog you can even shop by character trait! We have loved Tip Lewis and his Lamp, Teddy’s Button, The Giant Killer and The Wonderful Door.
