I know it’s not the same thing, but i recall an episode of season 9 with tango and I think Xisuma, but I don’t remember who else, going to the deep dark and releasing lines of Withers down on an Ancient City. @@melsunday1991etho likes doing everything methodically But he seems to know when that’s fine and when it isn’t, so with more fast pace people he doesn’t let his cautiousness slow them down. Look at team Canada videos, he lets pause and beef run in and follows not long behind, even if he wants to stop and read what’s happening and figure it out before running in.

Tango, You and Etho just built an easy to construct, precise, organic world eater! If you built the TNT Minecart autocrafter in the sky; replaced the clock with a slower or likely manual one, you could have the minecarts drop off of the rails one-by-one instead of slamming into a block and exploding en-masse. Then you could add or remove track to control where the TNT minecarts dropped. No flying machines, no obsidian stoppers, no rebuilding the entire mechanism every time you need to adjust; just redirect the tracks! Brilliant!

Its not AFKable, and doesn't have TNT duplication so its not an exact replacement of a World eater. But as you said its SO much easier, so those downsides probably don't matter

@@Peregrine1989Tango, and Etho as well I'm pretty sure, are not fans of TNT duplication. I'm also pretty sure that's what DerBoom meant by "organic". So the lack of duplication works in their favour. As for not being able to AFK, you can a bit. It'll take a little while for TNT minecarts to dig all the way from the surface down, and with a little redstone and rail planning, you could do whole chunks at a time before having to place any more rails.

A quick calculation of a 20x20x30 hole equalling 12000 blocks (almost 4 double chests) mined at 6 ticks each (instant mine), 72,000 total ticks would be exactly 1 hour of non-stop mining per setup. Doing that 4 times, it would realistically take 5-8 hours of manual digging. The time spent with Etho was about 30 minutes.

I am actually testing Etho's ergonomic setup, and it is kind of nice so far. The brain adapted to mouse orientation quite fast.

My setup is very similar to Etho's (except desk is at normal height, I have a wise desk mat, and my mouse is diagonal instead of horizontal). It's honestly so comfy and I was surprised that so many people found it so weird 😅 glad it's working out for you so far!

Just a thought for Tango and the Etho BOOM tech if you dug out the initial 20x20 holes perimeter and dumped some water along the edges it should ensure that you end up with a clean hole. Just a thought i had! Love the stuff tango!

When a minecart turns, its hitbox sticks out into adjacent rails, and if another minecart is on a parallel rail next to it, they can collide that way. Like etho, I never have minecart issues when only a single minecart is used. I also never have issues when I use completely straight rails

2:20 I guess that AI of these mobs tells them to move up if they could while wandering as to not get in caves and remain on surface. So it’s not like it’s a very rare thing to occur. If I remember correctly, in previous season you faced the same issue with ravager’s AI. The zone of pearl’s room and entrance/exit of spider den, you had to add a spike so that ravaged doesn’t wander too far up.

I wasn’t a big fan of the non-vanilla conveyors but now I’m sad that Tango got robbed of having some fun. Mojang really needs to just implement a lot of the Create Mod features into vanilla Minecraft, many of them belong in Minecraft more than pistons ever did.

Hare disagree. Theres 0 need for them. Water, piston movers, instant dropper lines, minecarts, even flying machines. So many ways to transport items that are core of vanilla manufacturing. You make stuff that does things, not craft a complete ptoduct that does it for you

Gonna have to double stampy triple ultra disagree infinity with you there. The fundamental sandbox framework of Minecraft was absolutely born for enabling players to construct crazy Rube Goldberg machinery, especially mechanisms of physical motion, something Minecraft is currently, and needlessly, lacking. Pistons and redstone have barely scratched the surface of this enormous well of gameplay potential, and the only reason to reject the expansion of this area of the game is pure short sightedness and lack of imagination. @@moon2schyzo

on the second boom bom tango bumbed the cart on the way out, which means they where not aginst the block when the rails activated, so the half that where crafted before he jumped out didnt move when the rails where powered and didnt go off at same time as the rest

Tango - I tried this in Java 1.20.4 and found something interesting; if the ground going off in the direction of the rail is flat & clear, the TNT minecarts will keep going until they hit something and THEN go boom...Kinda buggy, but you could feasibly set up your contraption along with a reasonably long path towards whatever you're wanting to kaboom, and you're set. No need to rebuild the whole thing - just load it back up and set it off again.

Glad you had a good holiday. Id love to visit UK and around europe as well someday. For the conveyors, I think part of it was the texturing and movment (and I know movement was the main goal of them) but it didnt look or feel minecrafty. I think texturing the conveyors with minecraft blocks/colours and maybe have the conveyors remain stationary and let the moving items that partially poke through create that movement effect would be better received (like how the decked out door was mostly deepslate colours and relied on moving armor stands to create its movement). Anyway, welcome back, looking forward to catching up on the livestream vods (timezones suck) and videos as they come out.

Stouts are good, but my favorite is a scotch ale (Silver City's in particular). Browns, reds and ambers are good too. But where I live in the PNW, about 75-80% of shelf space is given to IPAs. Waste of good space! Glad you had a good trip!

Tango I know you get embarrassed by Mrs.T sometimes, but that's genuinely some of my favourite content. Mrs. T is so funny! For the factory shut off system, use a skulk sensor when your there like you said for it to turn on, but then have a "afk mode" that toggles the timer off and keeps it running untill you turn it off manually, but the switch will be something obscure via calibrated sensor, so something like the sound of teleporting so you can turn it on wherever you are in the base, and is easy to shut off.

9:20 IPA and pilsners are really in right now. Most independent brewery pubs or some really characteristic ones often have a selection of dark beers/stout. But I've come across more of these in London than anywhere else. Down here on the south coast it's mostly Lagers.
