Frugal old guy here, I like a re-usable, re-sharpenable broadhead that I can practice with on a foam target, re-sharpen & hunt with the exact same broadhead. Hot topic, people get stubborn & emotional over broadhead arguments, they can't all be right, because I'm the only one that's right dammit!

I wish they would stop trying to fool people. Cutting edge doesn’t equate to cutting diameter. That’s completely misleading. The cutting diameter of the Helix is NOT 2 14” inches. That’s total cutting surface. So tired of false marketing.

@@scottpaulsen2649 how does cutting surface amount to anything in a broadhead? if its a 1" cutting diameter head what difference does it make if the the head is 2" long or 10" long? the longer head will just have more surface area to make it fly worse, it will not make the cut any better.

@@scottpaulsen2649 then say linear cut, that’s not the same as diameter. If it were, then the greatest broadheads on the market would all be the 3 to 1 broadheads so prevalent in traditional archery, and those don’t leave much for blood trails at all!! Diameter is directly how big of a gaping hole you’re gonna leave.

Glad to see a flash of annihilator Brodheads at the beginning. After 3 seasons I'm completely sold on them. I do want to get my hands on the xl heads they came out with though to see what kind of difference it makes.

They make a great head - just nothing new for this year. Which is okay too! There's absolutely nothing wrong with finding a product that works great and sticking with it.

Most of these heads have parts that came from china or somewhere not in the USA. To say otherwise is bullshit. Grim reaper, magnus and ahnilator are made in the us. But the muzzy and other major brands .. a lot of those parts come from over seas. Yes they are put together here but who gives a shit

The Shuttle T would be great if the ferrule steel wasn't trash. They bend like crazy and will only be worse with more material being taken out of it. If they bumped up the quality of the ferrule these would be great.. like they used to be before they sold out.

Rek broadheads aren’t new, they’ve been around for a couple years now. They were only available in 100 grain before but for 2023 they are coming out with 125 grain options, yet that wasn’t even mentioned.

Since LWCG doesn't attend the show and doesn't send product info to the media, we only know about it if we happen to stumble upon it. We'll definitely check it out, though!

Muzzy fixed blades are just as deadly and the most economical broadhead. Save your money.

I like you videos but many of my friends have notice a huge shortcoming in your testing……it basically comes down to the words “bleed out test”. Quite simply, which broadhead when shot into a 1 or 2 gallon clear plastic bag, in the same spot, would empty first. It’s fun in all to see broadhead hit bricks and sheet metal, but at the end of the day we care more about dead deer and amazing blood trails. Keep up the good work.
