The bare shaft, tells the tail on tuning a stick bow. Dan Quileins taught that method to me many years ago. Nice bear congratulations!

can't even hear what y'all are saying cause of the dang music I ain't never understood why every body plays music it's a hunting video not a bar or coffee shop the only music in the woods is the birds nice shot though and great footage brother

Greg please wear a harness especially when practicing like that. I would hate to see you fall and never be able to hunt again or die. I run on several hunters a year that fall out of treestands without harnesses and it almost always is near fatal and paralyzing.

Thank you for the concern. I am wearing a harness. I always use a minimalist rock climbing harness and it’s not usually visible on video.

@@DCMasturmindz1 I don’t imagine many conservationists whoop and cheers over the death of an animal. They may kill them as part of an environmental management program, but their humanity would not be compromised.

So, let's review what is happening: he's hunting a large, predatory, dangerous animal, has likely been preparing for the hunt for several months, invested his own resources into licenses, tags, and equipment, practices his shot routinely for an ethical kill, pulls off a difficult shot, finds the downed animal......and he is not allowed to smile about it?

How far up were you in New Brunswick? I hunted near Bathurst in June, didn't see a single raccoon. Was a nice change of pace from deer hunting in Ohio where the coons are thick as thieves.
