I’m very excited to share with you a build that has been months and months in the making.
Everything old is new again! I up-cycled an old body of mine from 2012 and re-purposed it for this new build.
Guitar is super fun and I hope you enjoy the video. Perhaps you will learn a thing or two about the Malmsten fury pick ups. While I really like them, they should come with somewhat of a disclaimer for traditional Strat tone lovers.
A HUGE shoutout to Pat Wilkins for, literally, decades of outstanding finish work. You’re the best, brother!

Room’s got LED lighting and dimmers. Combined with the weird grounding on my Fishman Loudbox (used for click/ backing track playback), there’s sone run rate hum. Turning off the Loudbox kills most of it. I always power it up with the room out of force of habit. Been getting a bit keener to leaving it off if it’s not going to be involved in a shoot. You don’t miss much, do you? 😉 G

how much did the scalloped neck cost you? I want to buy a fender professional II scalloped neck and put on my Stratocaster MiM. I've already swapped the tuners to locking tuners from Fender, Seymore Duncan Hot Rails for bridge, and for the neck i put DiMarzio Air Norton S. In the middle i plan to buy DiMarzio Pro Track. 😀

It had a couple up-charges. I had them not bevel the fret edges ($30) and it uas stainless steel frets.

What value volume and tone pots are you using? Thank you.

500k audio taper with treble bleed bypass for the volume and 250k for the tones. Thanks for watching! 🙂🎸👍🏻
