I smelled this perfume the other day and really loved how it smelled after a few minutes! it is exactly what I hoped Mon Guerlain would be but Mon Guerlain makes me feel very nauseous. I used to be obsessed with the original YSL Libre but I'm kinda over it at this point. So I'm definitely very interested in Burberry Goddess but it's a little expensive. Great video!! 💛

Your review is spot on! The opening is the same as Mon guerlain but then it settles down at least on me. Then it smells just like a beautiful comforting vanilla. Its not beast modes but more close to the skin and just comforting. I also at first thought it reminded me of juicy couture viva la juicy. But it kind of goes in its own direction. I also have to say I didn't like Mon guerlain I felt it had too much lavender. I prefer this one. :)

Very nice review on this gorgeous perfume. I used to love Mon Guerlain but discovered it contained An ingredient I was allergic to. This does not contain that ingredient so I am super excited because it reminds me of that perfume. I just keep picking it up and smelling it. It’s really delicious! I first smelled it in a magazine.

I got the 10ml of goddess and find it to have like a lemon or bergamot note in it also.on my skin anyway.the ginger in this is so good.its more like a powdery ginger.very aromatic and sweet to me at the same time.but I still love my libre intense or le parfum better.for this price I'd rather buy one of my niche parfums on my wish list.a good perfume though,but I say sample first.great review!agree with you on the other scents you tried also.😊

That was my first impression it reminded me of mon guerlain dry down alien goddess very close but I actually prefer Burberry goddess I am a Ysl libre girl and I like Burberry goddess it’s lovely for the colder months ❤

I live in NYC, my father came to visit and wanted to buy me a gift. We went to Macy’s and the woman sprayed some on my wrist. I was planning on getting an on sale cashmere sweater, but a few minutes after the perfume was on my skin. It smelled amazing! I don’t buy expensive perfume. But I told my Dad that I have a lot of clothes but not much perfume. I was a little concerned about the price point. I planned on getting the smaller one. But he had gotten a 20% discount. So he ended up purchasing a gift set with the lotion, and the larger bottle. I cried, it was so sweet. It is expensive. Before the discount it was 190$ for a purse sprayer, the lotion, and large bottle. I am more of an ornate girl so the bottle is growing on me, but it looks lovely on the shelf. The gold medallion definitely is giving something else, it has a classic feel, simple and refined. It’s not garish. The emblem does remind me of something I’m not sure what as well, it’s a disc-perhaps it’s reminiscent of a seal or a Gold coin. Or a Roman shield, it does remind me of large gold disc jewelry or earrings perhaps royalty in Egypt or Greek and Roman accessories that women might wear. I think Greek and Roman goddesses are often wearing simple garments and in Greece, Rome and Byzantine times they often wore gold coins as jewelry. The fragrance to me is quite lovely. It’s not boring, it’s classy. I have heard it say that it has a marzipan smell, but it’s doesn’t smell like almond. The vanilla I didn’t even realize it was a vanilla scent. And I think this perfume is just beautiful. The ginger note in it along with the absolute is what I think is helping it when it absorbs on the skin. The smell changes once you apply it and creates a wonderful multilayered experience that for some reason doesn’t happen when just sprayed in the air. This experience for me was simply intoxicating and I have not smelled anything quite like it. It is a special perfume. It is cozy and gourmand but not sticky as you said, not over powering and not too sweet. No sour note other winter fall scents sometimes have. It is attractive, inviting, and good for all occasions. Good for date night, good for seasonal family holidays, good for church, good for everyday wear but special enough to be a signature scent. Not sure about the office, but to me this perfume is very feminine without the sweet floral girly scent. It’s perhaps too much for a teen, but a young woman could wear it. I am extremely happy with this gift. And I blatantly disagree with some of the critical reviews that seem to be people confusing a must have foundational signature scent with a need for a new perfume to reinvent the wheel. These overwhelming positive reviews all say what I have experienced, this perfume has a twist at the dry down. It is an “it girl” perfume. I am worried I will run out of this because I want to wear it and just be enveloped in it.

What would you choose between Burberry goddess or the original Eilish for a good long lasting vanilla? Want a really really good vanilla. Vanilla 28 from Kayali has an alcoholic scent that never ever goes away on me so def not that one.

I just ordered Vanilla 28 and now i’ve tried and discovered this one (goddess) 3 times, it’s a calming Vanilla, i think I will love it during summer time too! I thought having both mentioned would be too much but what do you think? They are different right? Haha And I just discovered Burberry Her also … ouff my wallet! Oh and Kayaki Lychee 🙊🤩

I have to get a full bottle it smells amazing 🥹

THIS is the vanilla perfume I’ve been looking for!! I smelled it in Ulta today and the dry down is vanilla heaven. I love vanilla but some perfumes just don’t do it right… this one is delicate & lightly sweet, not sickly sweet like some I’ve smelled. The lavender and ginger notes are a nice touch, especially on the opening… but that vanilla dry down is my favorite. Definitely want to get my hands on a bottle of this one ASAP!
