No, Giulia (Type 952) continues into next year. Sales now ended only for North America. Anyway congrats and kudos to Unity and you disclosing the sponsorship! P.S. You have the real Verde Montreal tricoat 646, not the new pretend Montreal metallic 398 in the market since c.April 2024.

Is 398 the Verde Fangio? If yes it's market specific. I can't get that in Singapore. Only the Montreal

I didn't know there was a different Verde Montreal colour since April 2024, thank you for the info. Is there a noticeable difference between 646 coat and 398? I am in the market for the green Giulia Quadrifoglio and if it comes to Verde Montreal, in flesh I have only seen Alfa Romeo Tonale in this colour. I don't know what model year it was, but the colour looked stunning.

@@rcglitch1467 well, the new Giulia green is the same as the Tonale's. If you like it already, you won't have a problem! But the tri-coat was a Quadrifoglio exclusive and the same used on the GTA. For a comparison, look at Ron's Rides video reviews.

@@vlachyna M5 is not the same segment. ...And if by best, you don't mean the fastest, because the M5 isn't (only at some drag times) ...and if segment is not important, I would personally go for a Continental, a GTC4Lusso or a Rapide for the role. ...or even a more exclusive Quattroporte trofeo if 4 doors are a must.

great deal! I just got the 2024 Guilia Veloce MSRP $55K and because of 4800 miles being their loaner car, they knocked it down to $41K. was a win win for me. when/if the right Quad hits the depreciation mark I like, I will be upgrading if the Veloce pleases!

I’m so pleased you have got that car! I love the colour. You may have just stopped me making a terrible mistake. I love the Bentley GT but I’m scared about the maintenance costs. I’m looking for something, my last ever car purchase, that’ll give me that zing! Never once considered an Alfa but now I will. I’m ex pilot (soon to click over into a decade beginning with a 7) from way back (first solo in a Piper Cub) then continued training on the Tiger Moths. Ended up flying more than 100 types in all sorts of situations. That’s given me the passion I have. Love your car! Thank you….. John

Hi John. It’s not an ultimate luxury car but they’ve spent the money where it counts. Engine and chassis. If you see carbon fibre anywhere on this car then it’s the real stuff and not fake. What it does have is ‘soul’ and like you I want to buy something now to keep. Ed

Another Giulia QV. Yours is a beautiful addiction, congratulations. As beautiful as that green Montreal, I think there is only the city it takes its name from. Sooner or later we too will get a Giulia here, not the QV unfortunately, but I would certainly settle for a blue 210 HP diesel with tobacco interior. Here in Italy there are exaggerated taxes for cars over 250 HP and fuel is very expensive, I think the annual ownership tax alone for a QV is around €5000-6000. Enjoy it for us too Ed

I just collected an M3 Touring last month with the carbon seats as well. Would be good to swap notes later down the line! 👍.

Best of luck with the M3. Service between Alfa dealerships seems to be variable at best. I’ve just been lucky so far but haven’t needed too much from them so far. Easy to walk in and buy a car. Regular servicing and the odd visit for fixes. I think the main reason I go there is that their chief tech really knows his stuff. Ed

I have liked and subscribed not because this is the sort of car I would buy, I have a Genesis Electrified G80 coincidentally also around £85k when I bought it virtually two years ago, and apart from being a four door saloon it's completely different in that it's an EV luxury saloon trying to offer the refinement of a Rolls Royce with looks a bit like a Bentley. When I first saw the car I was as smitten as you with the Alfa, and to me the Genesis is the best car ive owned and thats coming from a Maserati Ghibli albeit diesel but an excellent car that i owned for seven years from new, and prior to that twenty years of various Jaguars. Whilst very different requirements in what we want from a car, I certainly recognise the genuine pleasure in getting what is your dream car. I hope you have many years of happy ownership, and I look forward to your next videos!

Awesome pick up. Sparcos too! I tried hard to find Verde Montreal but I also wanted a 2024 and Verde Fangio just wasn't the same. Ended up going Misano Blue! Glad you stayed I the Alfa Family!

I’m just hearing now that Fangio is the ‘fake Montreal Verde’. It’s not a tri coat I believe so doesn’t have the same ‘pop’. I do like the QV in both blues as well. Ed

This is the green cousin to my Rosso GTA. The Rosso GTA and Montreal Verde are the two best colours of these cars in my opinion. If I was to buy another it would be in this colour. Similar story to my car, mine sat in the showroom for about 8 months, but I picked mine up with only 70 km and a big discount.

perfect no digital gauge cluster but the updated interior Just Like mine. mine lacks only the Carbon Roof the Color (have Alfa Rosso ) and the Seats But I prefer heated seats :D Beautiful car Keep it up.

Typical Alfa dealership I’m afraid my experience recently in purchasing my new QV wasn’t exactly hassle free or indeed memorable & I bought mine from Thames who are meant to be one of the best 😢

Great choice! I personal prefer the other color, but it was a great opportunity not to miss! ...and these cars are going to be very hard to get in the future with everybody going EV. EV Alfa Romeos wouldn't be much more than the badge and aesthetical details.

If they are releasing the limited edition in the UK then I believe you're right. It's such a surprise move though. I was "forced" to pick up a 2024 before they are all gone. Matching green shirt is a nice touch 👍.

I lost £17k in 4 years on the last one. And if I’d sold it privately that would have been about £12k. Unfortunately I couldn’t hang about as the green one would have sold quickly. Ed

I don’t know about the specific UK market, but in general these hardly depriciate at all compared to any other Alfa. A good one starts at 50k €!

Beautiful car, but doubtful reliability. Italian cars are never known for their reliability. Just like the Saab cars, they look quirky and beautiful , but the worst car to own because of reliability issues.

@@Back_Road_Hero it is known fact that Italian cars are not known for their reliability. Maybe the new Alfa Romeo’s have corrected their problems with reliability. Ask any car owners who have had Alfa’s , especially the older ones, majority of them have claimed that their Italian cars have spent more time in the shop than on the road being driven. They are beautiful cars to drive, but have been historically plagued with reliability issues. Maybe the latest models have corrected those issues. But getting servicing parts for them when needed, especially in North America will probably not be cheap.

It’s a very sweeping statement that you make without first hand experience. My Alfas have been no more unreliable than my German or British ones over the years. The Japanese might have an edge though. If you don’t take the odd risk in life then it can be a little dull. I prefer to treat every day as it’s my last.

Same thing for die hard Range Rover or jaguar owners , why do they love their cars so much even though it probably spends more time in the shop than driving it? Because it’s a Range Rover or it’s a jaguar. For these folks , same reason as yours , they would rather enjoy the opportunity to drive something “special” than to drive a Japanese car just for reliability reasons. The Alfa Romeo G definitely is a one of a kind super sports car that will put a smile on your face driving it , even if it does turn out to potentially have mechanical/electrical reliability problems.

Maybe I’m just that type of person. I’m a serial owner of Jags and Range Rovers as well! In the UK we’ve plenty of specialists to help maintain them.
