The introduction of discover permanently changed the game. It's like a more balanced Shredder. Then you look at explicit deck building options... It's the intersections between classes that are most interesting to stumble across or exploit

I would have to disagree because she just becomes a must kill for any class that can built a board over and over again because her downside basically freezing your board if you want the buff but with out the downside nothing stops you to just slap her down on already existing board

@@shrimpCurry there are plenty of cards that already do this exact effect if not better. A 5 mana must kill card is pretty standard now adays.

@@shrimpCurry blind-eye sharpshooter, DragonBane, RC Rampage, Sonya water dancer, are all MUST kills at 4. Wishing well and gold beard at 5. Burrow buster is also ran in just about every deck and it free trades into AFK while generating resources. 6 mana is when control classes

Afkay is 0 mana 0/5. It should be 5/5 with cannot attack or something. Kinda meh as it is.

On the other note the passenger, the aoe spells, sunscreen and drinks seam weak. Do i need spell damage minions just to play malted magma. Also weapons attendant really just a reprint. Sure just give paladin more rush down. Whatabout the classes that dont really attack like druid or priest or warlock? Summon a location is better. Or better yet. 4mana deal 2 damage to all enemy minions, summons a location from your hand.

@@ScherFire Honestly feels like they're making this set quite underwhelming as the trade-off for the duel-class mechanic of this set. Most of the cards so far don't seem very impactful - but we'll wait and see on that.

Somewhat doubt - it only allows access to class cards from this set, and the cards in this set are probably intentionally made to be pretty underwhelming - so I rather doubt many cards from this set will impact wild.

I feel you here, it's not a particularly elegant system. There are some distinctions over Dual Class though. They don't have to be the same shared classes, so it opens up design space a little more. They also can't be discovered by the touring class, so that's important sometimes.

@moreregis that's fair enough I suppose but jeeze, they could have done something aside from only keyword it! Maybe the bottom half of the cards could have had the main class color and the top half would have had a neutral coloring, and adding Tourists would change that top half's coloring into the tourist class color.

You should not try to logic ccg cards.

You discover bugs and turtles (things with shells) as you wander through the forest. Then you get sunburned, and you can't go hiking again until you put on sunscreen.

You discover Taunt Minions, because druid's taunt minions are usually Big, Huge, Animals.
