New Casio WS-1700H | All You Need To Know

Күн бұрынThe Casio WS-1700H is to be launched in January 2024. This video is a preview of the watch and all you need to know for it's specs and features before it arrives on our shores. It will be released initially in 3 different colorways: Black (WS-1700H-1A), Khaki (WS-1700H-5A) and Grey (WS-1700H-8A). The LCD display is divided into 5 different coloured sections and will feature a tidal and moon phase information. Casio is aiming this watch for those interested in marine activities.

Fake rivets would have been a better design choice- less obvious facade and I can't imagine any collector calling out against the design choice.

This seems to be an amped up Casio Royale merged with the fishing watch and the AE 1500!

This is a brand new model. Released last week. WS1500 has multi coloured screens as well.

You get Blue, Brown, Yellow and normal coloured screens on the WS1500 i got mine on a christmas rush sale. Below 30 USDish.

Most Casio wave watches can show Neap and Spring tides. The graph on this watch looks different to others I the range so we’ll wait and see.

The dual time mode has a glitch, the time can only be AM, which is a strange limitation and not true dual time.

Yeah you have to set it at 24 hours first during the AM times. Dual time can only be set at a 12 hour range. Then you can set it to 12 hour mode. I hab both GMT-5 and GMT+8 this way.

The moon phase will be accurate based upon other Casio watches. I live in Ireland and so it should be the same for UK.

Its amazing watch but size is bigger (52.5 × 48.6 × 15.2 mm) as compared to my wrist. Is there any small size option in 1700H?

The modules are big due to the complications of moonphase with a tide graph / fish level. Not sure if they will make a small one with one compressed complication.

Some good ideas but not done right, Those pushers look awkwardly placed and a glass crystal is needed, Close to greatness it looks really good.

It does not have world time, but you can enter a second time zone manually. I have just uploaded a full review of this watch on my channel.
