I wish this was a quad instead of 4 wildly expensive singles. I know it’s smarter to do this from a business perspective, but dang! These 4 shades look great together, and would have been a sell out $60-75 quad. I can’t imagine spending $224 for those 4 shades, and then another $104 for the balms. I get that chantecailles audience can spend that, but give me something special for it, ya know?

I was wondering how some of the new colors compared to the existing Luminescent ones. During the Sylvie sale I bought the Mermaid shadow in Sylvie, the Retinol hand cream, Zebra eyeshadow, the Wild meadows eye quad and (cant believe I did this), the 24k Gold Firming moisturizer. Now this gorgeous collection has come out! 😮😳

Loved this !! I have a RESCUE dog from the ANIMAL PAD down in San Diego ! SHE (PEACE) was rescued from the streets of Ensenada Mexico and then we flew down and rented a car and driver her 8 hours back up to sacramento California from San Diego ! I say all that because I can’t TRAVEL right now ! She had it rough and so I am with her as much as possible . BUT MY POOL and we are members at a golf course , so GOLF is also my vacation !!

So pretty, Grace! Bay is a beautiful color… love that it’s matte. I bought the cushion foundation but haven’t used it yet. Glad you had a nice vacation with your parents in Hawaii. At the Chantecaille sale I got the gel foundation (which is a first time purchase for me), the le Stylo concealer, a mermaid eye in seashell (love that formula) and the stress repair eye cream (also a first time purchase). I never spent so much on an eye cream so I hope it works 😊

I've checked everywhere and the Roan eye shade is already sold out. Is there another color you would recommend that's similar in color and consistent shimmer? And thanks so much for the beautiful videos!

Unfortunately, in Australia our Chantecaille prices just keep going up and never get reduced. It's very difficult to source the brand here, yet usually it's from only one store or then it's all the way to London to track it down. Chantecaille do not sell to us or New Zealand which is such a shame, considering the demand is most definitely here. When we finally receive a Limited Edition release, if you don't pounce on it straightaway, it just keeps going up in price when, or if, re-stocked. I love the shades of the single shadows, yet for very little more, I can purchase a Chanel Quad or Dior Quint. When a store is nowhere remotely close, it's an awfully hard risk to take to purchase online for their products when they don't always work out. I'm not ready to purchase a Blurring Powder just yet, but by the time I need to, the price will be prohibitive and I can just as easily buy Chanel or any other high-end luxury brand for much less. It's rather unfair to continually charge us higher prices and to be honest, I can easily do without the brand if they think so little of us. I'm curious about this breed of wild horse that apparently has only been discovered. It's very rare for a new species to show up in these times without anyone noticing. We have wild horses in our country too, yet not everyone is keen for them to be breeding out of control and damaging the environment they reside in. It's a rather contentious issue and not all are happy for them to be helped to continue to breed like many other introduced species. I'd be interested in knowing how everyone feels about this new breed. Considering that Australia has well over a million wild camels terrorising our deserts, it's not always such an easy decision to make, especially by a Cosmetic Company, to invest money into helping this new breed and how. It was the first thing to come to mind when hearing of this release. Grace, it's been far too long since I've been able to get away, despite desperately needing too! At least the weather is starting to warm up slightly and Spring is just next month. The only good thing about being stranded at home is all the online shopping I get to do! It was only yesterday that I purchased all four of the new Chanel Quads. I wasn't even sure when they were being released, until I saw a video by a Kiwi (New Zealander) neighbour who had all four herself. As I'm not close to a store, it will most likely be Monday that I receive them. I couldn't decide between them and went in for them all. I'm surprised at how much less they cost compared to the Tweeds, which was a great relief! Glad you had a nice time away, although I think that it would've been yourself that was more excited than seeing Jason Mamoa than your husband would be. It's strange that whenever I get a touch of Sun, my foundation or facial products never change, yet always stay the same. Sounds like a wonderful vacation! I got the bronze face tint. The sale was a good chance, I was afraid to get it at full price, in case it didn’t play well with my sunscreen. I have boatloads of sunscreen it must play well with as a mix-in, because the tint is miles too deep. Well…it is absolutely beautiful! 😮 mixed with my sunscreen (ordinary Lubriderm) turned it into a silky cooling cream. The Shiseido brush then made a smooth finish. I’m using a bit of Jones Road balm in Bronze to cover my redness and a pat of Westman Atelier Peau de Peche cream on my capillary spots. THAT’S IT! My little bit tan skin looks so, so good.

I was wondering if you had the other lip color of the Chantecaille collection. I believe there is a darker one. thanks

How does the shade roan (or pinto) compare to the similar shade in the wild meadows quad?
