I just want to say THANK YOU, to everyone who decorates their homes every year!! You guys don’t know how much joy this brings to children. You guys light up the spirit in them♥️.. we love to step outside and look at all the beautiful homes decorated and it brings a magical feeling in our hearts. I love being the only person downstairs in the morning and just admiring my beautiful tree. My kids come by later in the morning and I still enjoy watching them open gifts. They are 26 and 29. ❤️🎁🎄

I agree. Experiencing the magic through my sons eyes is the best! But also I think I enjoy the weeks leading up to Christmas almost more than the actual day. The decorating, enjoying my cocoa bar with my son, watching Xmas movies, enjoying the tree every night and morning, going to look at lights with my son, the preparing and baking and wrapping. I love it all. Just the pure joy it brings!

I actually decorate in silver, blues, and white with snowflake and pine greenery since I have an 1880's farmhouse I like to imagine decorated like it was back then... so some of my stuff comes down after Christmas and some stays up for the winter season. I love the slow down with the holidays... like Christmas night after presents are open... dinner is done and put away... and it's time to just enjoy the night with a successful Christmas behind me!!! I am watching from NW Ohio

Thanks for posting! I love how you brought the holidays throughout, just gorgeous. I'm here watching this in August to get me in the holiday mood 🙂! So I'm a red/white/silver. I try to bring Christmas into as many areas of my home as I possibly can, from the kitchen, family room, decking off the hall ways, powder room, stair landing, bedrooms & dining room as well. All of your decor looks amazing! I love all the red ❤❤ my favorite part is when you showed that you give your kids a gift when you are decorating. You have to be an amazing Mom! You are making Christmas so magical for your kids just like my Christmas was a kid.
