Absolutely beautiful! Well done! Everything is perfect! Your parents' home is lovely. Actually, I think those gold candles you placed on the dining room table with the tablescape is perfect! They match the color scheme of the table decorations (both garlands) so well. I have the same LED candles, only mine are white and thankfully, they did come with a remote. Thank you so much for sharing. I really enjoy your decorating videos :)

Thanks Michelle great video, you decorate so beautifully. I am Canadian and a regular church goer...and 65....lol.... Christmas is a Religious celebration, so therefore I decorate once Advent starts which is the very end of November or beginning of December. When our children were young our oldest daughter 's birthday is Dec 12th and we had a real tree so we never decorated until after her birthday. Now we have an artificial tree and it goes up the first week in December. Lol I really don't want to dust Christmas decorations. I also leave our tree up until New Year's. Quite a few families keep their tree up until Ukrainian Christmas which I believe is Jan 8th. I feel that most people in our area wait until December but we're seeing more and more trees going up in November.

You are one of my favorite KZfaq personalities to watch. Your sister was right, you could be a professional decorator. We normally decorate a week before Thanksgiving but, my dad is in hospice care at my sister's home so we both take care of him. I didn't have time, or the spirit of Christmas, to put anything up this year. That's one of the many reasons I so enjoy watching your videos, they bring me so much joy to watch. I can enjoy your and your mom's beautifully homes. Once again, you did a great job. Everything looks like a magazine/Hallmark movie. Cozy, stunning, and festive. ❤

I start decorating the last week of October 😊. The week of Thanksgiving, I decorate my front porch . Everything is done by 11/30.

Just a suggestion with the large candles…wrap tape around the bottom until it’s thick enough to stay straight and then you can easily unscrew the bottom to replace batteries and turn them on. It’s frustrating when they don’t fit the holders. I feel like all tapper holders should be a standard size as well as the candles to make life easy for all of us. Another lovely job of decorating. It’s very sweet of you to do your parents tree. ❤🎄

I start to decorate the week of thanksgiving. My son is home for thanksgiving break and is old enough to carry it all downstairs for me now 🤣. We have 1 10ft tree in the main family room, 1 7ft in the dining room, and 1 7 foot in the keeping room/plant room (my happy place). Not to mention all the random 3 and 4 foot trees all over the place. I’m the only one who decorates so I start that week. We save the main room for last and decorate on Black Friday.

I decorate before Thanksgiving with the exception of the tree which my family does the day after Thanksgiving. We decorate, watch Christmas movies and have hot chocolate.

Hey Michelle, Happy Friday. I love how you decorate your parents house for Christmas every year. ❤ I agree if you’re able to cut the ribbon on the Christmas tree then you are able to cover more of the tree and get the most out of it. ❤ I like how your parents have two Christmas trees. One that is more of the traditional show stopper tree and another one that is more for the grandkids that have their own special ornaments on it. ❤ Your parent’s home looks beautiful for Christmas, I’m sure they appreciate you decorating it for them. How did you know what to do as far as decorating in their home (did they tell you what they wanted or did you create things based on what you thought would look good)?

If decorating were an olympic sport, you could win a medal 🤩 I'm from The Netherlands and here we celebrate Saint Nicolas on the 5th of December. It has been sort of a rule that you decorate for Christmas after the 6th but most people start at the end of November. This year I didn't put up a tree. My son is now 17 months and he is in a very destructive phase so all the decorations have to be at least 5 ft of the floor 😅

I'd return the candles and reorder ones with a remote. You can use your putty to hold the candles straight.

Get you some museum wax to make those candles straight. Only downside is they need to be remote. Otherwise you will stick them in, and then won’t be able to get them out to turn them on and off. So yeah in that case tissue paper or bits of brown bag may work better.
