Interesting point about running solo allarus captains is they take up less space when you deep strike them…..deffo some play in that

Firstly, great stream gents. Secondly, so refreshing to hear decent and honest discourse about the ludicrous anger over female Custodes. Yes it’s a change in lore as people knew it, but also, who cares? It doesn’t change the game. It doesn’t affect anyone who doesn’t want to include female models in their army. Let people be included and get on with playing good games with good mates. GW’s tweet was rubbish though haha. Thanks again lads.

Both codexes do look fun to play, I like the dread mob stuff that was shown, makes me want to collect deff dreads and killa kans :D while not as "competitive" some of the custodes stuff looks fun to play with too, so I'm looking forward to getting mine on the table soon. Great stream guys.

As an Ork player I hate to do this, but the morkanaut is titanic and can't use the -1 dmg strat. Here you go Custodes, have a tissue on me. Ps- assuming the 9"advance from the boyz was short of getting on any objective. Alternatively they could've attempted a charge on the dude in the middle and the outcome would've been the same

I've watched 4 Custode Battle Reports and they lost 3 of them (The one that won was a sisters detachment vs thousand sons so thats cool). I know orks are strong but dang, I really wish Custodes could win one lol

I was going to say the same. It’s a big problem when ALL battle reports on internet between custodes and orks using new codex, is a lost for custodes. ALL, even the one from warhammer+.

Man, this was fun. Orks put up a fight, Liam could have played slightly differently and won. Looks like the factions are at least competitive. More 'stodes in future battles - maybe against some death guard! I like the change in lore and honestly - it doesnt hurt anyone. No gamers were harmed in the updates/changes to lore.

Its fine if you consent to everything you love being destroyed by people who hate you, but most of us don't. They didn't add anything to the custodes, and _because_ they didn't is how we know its just pandering to people who won't play the game anyway.

The detachments are bad designed, and , I suppose would be written with WTC in mind. Because if you don’t place lots of sceno cover your custodes, you are going to reach combat with 1-2 custodes at best. Not fight first could be removed , but lost custodes by stupid mortal wounds as granade or tank shock is sad. And lost -1 to hit and -1 damage (and recover one miniature) make so easy, for every melee army to charge and kill them
