@mizuXmagicXmango no its definitely marketed as it changes in bright and low lights so no magic ingredients here. Just a pretty colour that does what all colours do.

Not all colors. Iroiro has some that are actually so color changing the violet goes blue to purple and it’s so so noticeable. These didn’t do that for me. It could be the way she filmed but I didn’t see much change and iroiro isn’t even like warm to cool it’s just more chameleon where when you turn in different angles it turns. As a stylist not many colors I’ve ever used actually do that. I just think it’s more of a fimmick with these. Bc if it’s just warm to light like this I can see why you say most colors. But if you want a real color shift iroiro is one of the only brands that change in your face in the same lighting like multi chrome.

I think the camera is color correcting a bit. I have a friend that got this product (the blue to violet), and it looks much more impressive in IRL than on the little samples. It could also be that you just need more hair with more depth to really get the effect as well. Like it changed from a very vibrant blue to actual purple in different light and not just what you expect from hair dye (cause my girl has a BUNCH of blue hair dye lol). I think it's based on what wavelength of light is getting picked up by the over and under tone colors.

Love xmondo blue hair dye, but these don’t look like they colour shift at all like they claim. Just look like his regular hair dyes relabeled as color shifting. I appreciate you showing the swatches in so many different lighting! Love your content Asilinn 💖

No hate to Brad but these aren't color shifting at all, this is just literally how lighting works with >any< object that has colour in it, not just hair colour.

I agree with the concensus here, they are gorgeous shades as always- but they literally do nothing different than any other dye in different light sources. it's like my hicolor red hot is actually red in natural warm light, but inside in cooler lighting its toned down. As long as they are new shades and not priced more than the other ones then hey cool new shades

On your phone I could see the colour shift much better than on the camera, but I can't help but feel this is what most dyes or haircolours do depending on the lightsource. It's just how colours work in different light lmao

That’s because the camera is automatically adjusting the white balance, so it essentially all looks the same. The phone camera is a little closer to what we would see.

I appreciate all of the work you put into this video, with all of the different rooms and lighting, as well as re-doing the swatches when you realized the first ones didn't take so well. You're awesome for letting your subscribers know every little detail about a product so we can make an informed decision about them! I am so glad you said that normal colours do this in the light anyway, because, yeah, I was gonna say my purple hair always did this depending on the lighting I was in. Even with no colour and just blonde, the blonde will look different in different lighting too.

I was wondering how these would look. Brad said they were a limited run, so my guess is that he’s testing them out. Unfortunately in this video, the color shift doesn’t show up more than “a color in different lighting”, so I’m not sure he succeeded in creating what he was going for. The smell of his products are yummy, totally agree with you on that!

The only time I've ever had my hair color shift is when I used a Splat's purple and it absolutely looked blue in some lighting and purple/pink in other lighting. It was really weird and it's never happened again since then.

Whenever I mix different dyes together I do get a color changing effect. But it's the most obvious between bright sunlight and any indoor light. It's like a multi chrome.

i like to mix my own colors and sometimes when I add complementary colors to make a color more toned down, it shifts to that undertone at different angles rather than different light. that's what I would consider true color shifting.

Just used the blue to purple, I like it but it’s darker than my usual so I’m not sure about it yet. I love Brad and his products and I usually use his super purple with berry mixed in.

Iroiros violet is my FAVORITE I always call it Tokyo blue because it does purple to blue offense to Brad I like theirs more it shows the color shift soooooo much better.

I HAVE AN IMPORTANT QUESTION lol I got overly excited and ordered the blue-purple shift, I've been using the sapphire color of his to refresh the blue that was put into my hair at a salon and it fades to a pretty teal-y turquoise-y color, and I'm a little afraid if I put a purple-based blue on top of it like the color shift color it'll fade to a nasty muddy color because of the green-purple combo. Do we think it's a bad idea to slap it on top? Should I refresh the bleach first?

Looks the same to me the blue look really Dark also on any camera looks different then in person so. And wow the blue came out alot. But like I always say if you washing a bunch first then bleach it out I feel like it will come out alot better too. Thanks for the information ❤❤❤

Thank you for the review ❤ but it looks like funny marketing. These colors does not have color shifting:) certainly, going from warm to cool light will change the tone of color, but I can also say the same that my skin will be yellow in warm light and more blue in cold light:) it’s just physics, not chemistry.😊

You know, when you rewind 5 seconds and focus on an individual swatch at a time when you change the lighting, there’s definitely a colour shift. It’s super subtle but defnitely noticeable. I find the pink does it the least of all of them BUT definitely does it.

When you were swatching the colors I could see the color change in the red/pink but that was the only one, and I couldn’t tell after that.

I was really surprised how much the dark purple/blue lifted, and the fact that it lifted pink rather than blue. Not sure I'd describe them as colour shifting; I think there needs to be a more drastic difference, like dyes that change colour with temperature?

I just wanted to see Brand Mondo's shifting colors and your video is the first one I seen so I clicked on yours and I gotta tell ya Your makeup is so pretty and I really like how you do your lips Your just so pretty and Oh Yeah I was side tracked by your prettiness lol The colors are pretty but as for the color changing Not sure about that, and it might be different in real life in person and can't say If I seen them on sale I wouldn't buy them and try them or gift them to someone
