Can we put fences on the side? More privacy?

@Freddy Chang that is a HOA question and as you know every HOA is different but what I can tell you is what is common in central Florida in my experience and that is most HOA’s let you put 6 foot privacy fencing on the sides of the home if you back to a conservation or water lot then you my have to transition down to a 4 foot picket style fence . Now depending on the builder they may only allow the black iron fencing in your community because it is more appealing and uniformed and the builders objective is to sell homes. Keep in mind that once you and your fellow Residents in the community take Over the HOA you can vote to Change the fencing rules Also Keep in mind I’m not a attorney nor a HO A specialist but these are things I have seen done in my experience As a realtor. The average county rate is 1.060% ( Oceola county ) of the homes sales price which would mean a home at $450k would average out to $4770 annually of course taxes differ for everyone and there situation so I could only obviously give you a estimate off average make sense ?, hope this helps 😊
