As an CS major’s student, I’d say that this course bring so much knowledge for me to learn iOS and SwiftUI. One of many things that makes me willing to pay because I know that I’ll save a lot of hours searching for fixing bugs if I were new to SwiftUI. Also, not only I love your teaching style, I often find that you always give the best solution for any problem with development. I’ve finished the course and it’s absolutely worth it. Keep up the good work!

Could you consider making a video of a skill set required for junior and regular iOS positions? Also, is objective-C still relevant? From what I've seen a lot of companies already migrated to swift.

OC is the main coding language that senior ios developers use but that may be to difficult for a junior ios developer to learn. UNIX is propably your best bet for a junior ios position you should learn how to edit install files and change directories before anything.

I’m sorry but your courses are very basic mvc ish apps. Makes me doubt your experience. You don’t follow solid, don’t use good architectural patterns.

Sorry to hear that. Most of the courses I teach indeed do not follow any particular pattern, nor should they. I provide what I would like to call walkthrough applications that introduce new concepts for folks that are looking to get deeper into iOS development. Going deep into detail of architecture is often counterproductive for most folks, at least in the earlier stages of learning.

Do you know any other courses or learning sources that puts emphasis on solid and design patterns? I feel like I have no issues with learning new syntax or figuring out things with a little bit of research, but my greatest weakness is structuring and organising my code. I'm not really sure a lot of devs pay special attention to solid and design patterns in general. If you have any good resources please do share. Maybe some github repos?

I wouldn’t call it basic, there’s a lot of new SwiftUI syntax like data fetching and dependency injection that is covered. The main goal of these courses is to always build a functional working application, I think this is most important for people learning iOS development. $100 price tag is relative in terms of cost, it’s an excellent deal for all the hours code and research that goes into each lesson.

@@Alexander-xg3og what bothers me is you have no videos posted on your Channel of fully completed ios apps we have no clue who you are but you have the nerve to judge Mr. Voongs tutorials. He has been making tutorials for years how long have you?
