And I’d be curious to see how it works when the bottle is almost empty. Does this tool really make it easier to squeeze the glue out when the bottle is close to empty?

I am curious about that too. But I guess I would just refill the bottle if it were getting empty. I actually have trouble squeezing glue bottles that clearly have plenty left inside!

I have already commented on your fab video but I wondered if you have had experience of how good it is at squeezing out glue if the bottle is getting near the bottom? I bought it as soon as I saw it. I love it! I've had lots of trouble with glue bottles in the past because of the arthritis in my hands. This is a game changer for me. Worth every penny.

Just purchased it and was wondering about other glues - but the glue you tried is the glue I use - so I’m totally happy with my purchase- as I had to get it on line as the craft stores in my area could not keep them on the shelves 😊😊

I got it and it’s a game changer for my 72 year old hands., I got extra empty glue bottles and put in my favorite glue. It’s easy to squeeze 👏👏👏

I was intrigued by this glue press, as the arthritis in my hand makes squeezing bottles hard, and getting that (*&&)) pin back into my glue bottle is a pain. Between your review and Jennifer McGuire's I intend to get one. I also find your hair to be so attractive on you. Thank you for all you do.

Excellent review. Thank you. I use Nuvo Deluxe glue all the time. The original bottle comes with a good plastic dispenser. This product looks really helpful.

If you have any local retailers that carry the MISTI, I bet this is coming soon! Even without arthritis (yet) I have trouble squeezing glue bottles and so I love mine and am using it all the time now!

Thanks for the review. I don't have trouble gluing things with a Bearly glue and the nozzle it comes with. I just use the rubber stopper they sell to keep the nozzle from clogging. This just seems like more clutter on my workspace and it's really big. You gave it a good thorough review though

I've used a medical syringe with a large needle. Draw up the glue like you would to fill a syringe with medicine. It works awesome. You can get them from feed stores. The diabetic needles are too small so you need a bigger one.

I love my new glue gun. I have arthritis in my hands and this makes it so easy to apply the correct amount of glue. I used to have feasts or famon when I applied glue to my cards

Maybe I am missing something but I just turn the bottles of glue I have upside down so I already get most all if my glue out of the bottle. There are many glued on the market and I love what I have been using for years and I can put a small pop of glue where needed. If I have to fill the Nuvo bottle with glue I don’t think I am better off to purchase this! Now if they can come out with one to use your existing bottles I might give it another look. Glad you have something that works for you. No matter how I store my various glues I have trouble squeezing the right amount out so this was great for me and I am using it all the time!

I have had problems with my Nuevo glue bottles, and have tried them out using the other tip and they seem to work great. I love the tool, as there is hardly any squeezing involved. The glue just comes out so easily. Hoping I can use up all those bottles of glue that I’ve had trouble with in the past.

Thanks Rebecca. I bought it in a rush yesterday when SSS let me know it was back in stock. I love NUVO glue to begin with. Thank you for the additional info about NUVO drops and replacement nibs. What was the big white glue you used to refill? Was it a waffle flower glue? Another question I see you use Simon Hurley. I have never had success with foam blocks. I think I am too weak! I agree! I know there is plenty of glue in there, but I am squeezing and squeezing and nothing is coming out or a big glob comes out!

Not interested in this but I appreciate that it comes with Nuvo Deluxe glue because that's my all time favorite and I think it's underrated! Even without this tool the Nuvo glue very rarely clogs.

I just use a small glass cup with wet paper towel or baby wipe and place my glue bottle with the tip facing upside down on top of the wet paper towel it keeps the glue flowing when in use and I don’t have to bother placing the pin back into the tip while I’m crafting- the glue does not spill out either - 😊I have even forgotten to close up the glue after crafting and came back a day or two later and the tip still wasn’t clogged

Hmmmm I did not have that problem with the Bearly! If anything I found it to be a bit more viscous than the Nuvo!

I have heard from other crafters with arthritis that it is much easier for them to use than glue bottles! Even without arthritis I found myself squeezing the life out of a glue bottle I know has plenty of glue and not getting anything to come out.

Hi Rebecca! I was sort of wondering about the glues….I have the Bear glue and i do like it, but when ever I use it, a couple days later I have to stick a pin on the hole to get it flowing again ( even when I leave it upside down in a jar with a damp paper towel in the bottom) It’s very frustrating! Anyway, I was curious if you put the glue (specifically the Bear) and left it in the holder upside down if it stayed flowing after a few days or if you had to unplug the hole!? Thanks for another great video! I love watching you. I’ve looked at this glue holder, but wasn’t sure it would solve my problem!! 😊

I have been capping both glues when not in use.The caps have those specially made pins to keep the bottle from getting air in it. I've kept them on the holder only when in use. I'll keep you posted after a longer time to see if they are still flowing easily!

I’ve been using the bearly art glue for several days with the fine tip (swapped them out on the bottles) and have not been recapping - just setting in the stand - so far has not been drying out nor have I had to run a pin in the tip. The larger tip will even let the collage medium from tim holtz be used and the Simon says stamp craft tacky glue. Glossy accents works great too with the super fine tip (I bought extra bottles for all the adhesives I use).

I haven’t had problems with the nozzle getting blocked (I use Bearly Art glue with the precision tip) but I’ve been very careful about always putting a pin in the nozzle when I’m not using it, and then rinsing out the nozzle when I’m done for the day. So I don’t think this product is for me, but I can see how it would be useful for some people.

I'm with you! I also use Bearly Art glue and whatever bits of dried glue may occasionally need to be pulled off the precision tip I don't think I've got a problem that requires a $35 (plus tax and shipping) solution. Nor do I have space on my work area for an appliance that's about 4x the size of a bottle of glue.

This tool is NOT to keep your tip from clogging. How did y'all even get that?! 😂 It is a PRESS to help get the glue out without struggling. It's great that you don't need it right now, but you will one day. 😁

@@CynicalSim I don't know about VeganDoris but I'm 76 and do fine using glue without a tool. And, yes, one of the advertised features is that you can store your glue without the cap on and without clogging.

@@VeganDoris yes, that is an additional bonus, but not the main purpose of the tool. People keep responding as if it's just a $35 clogger preventer. 😂

I use a sillicone nail polish bottle holder. And a refillable reusable pen style glue bottle that fit the hole in the nail polish holder upside down. Works like a sharm. As we say i Norway: the easy is often the best. It, stops the glue from coming out, and it ready to use with the glue at the tip of the nozzle. I also store it like this with the lid on the bottle, for the next time i use it. As we say in Norway 🇳🇴 whats easy is often the best.

This is a cool tool, I probably won’t be getting it because of cost, what I’m interested in is you made cards and commented on how its hard to get some glue to hold gems or what ever on the card, so is the Nuvo deluxe glue the best for these type of things?

You can put any glue you want in the empty bottle.

I had never used the Nuvo Deluxe before, but I was very happy with both the consistency and dry time. You could for sure just get the Nuvo adhesive. I don't know if it is best because there are lots of great liquid adhesives out there, but I really liked it a lot and will be buying a refill.

Absolutely! One crafter commented that she has a whole bunch of different adhesives and Glossy Accents etc in different refill bottles to use with it!

I have not tried that. I am assuming it would not fit perfectly as it was made for the shape of the Nuvo bottle, but like I mentioned, I was able to use smaller bottles even though it was not a perfect fit.

Does the pin in the cap cause the glue to turn brown? I found that happens when I keep a pin in the glue bottle.

I think it's probably a stainless steel or metal that doesn't rust. Some pins are made that way but lots aren't! I've had the same issue with non stainless pins!

I use Art Glitter Glue. The Art Glitter replacement pins don’t rust.

Excellent review. Thank you. I use the Nuvo deluxe glue in its original bottle and find it hardly ever clogs. But as my arthritis advances I can see how this glue stand and bottles will be very helpful.

I have found that this is more likely with the fine tip but not as much with the ultra fine tip. So when not in use I store the fine tip with the pin in it from the cap. Another tip is to really make sure the tip is flush against the raised part of the silicone. If you get it right up against the silicone, nothing should be able to come out.

@@RebeccaKeppel thank you! I spoke with the company and they told me I needed a thicker glue. I put Craft Tacky glue in the empty bottle with the larger tip, and the company told me thicker glues work best. Personally, it shouldn’t matter on the glue, but I will try it. I also may not have been ensuring the tip is flush with the stopper, per your suggestion-will try that as well. Thank you!!

As much as I would use this and was intrigued when i first saw it, until i found My Sweet Petunia was the maker. I will never support My Sweet Petunia now with how they have become a bully in the craft world. They will sue any and everyone who tries to make tools that are somewhat similar to theirs. The only craft company i have ever seen do such.

They have a right to protect their inventions. Their patents are limited so they are protecting them while they can. I'm buying one for that reason.

They definitely are not the only craft company to use litigation in this way. The way intellectual property works is that if you have a patent pending, you must show that you are sufficiently protecting said patent in order for it to be granted. That means cease and desist letters to start. But if the offending product is brought to market, cease and desist letters are kind of moot. So in that situation you would need to use litigation otherwise the patent office will reject the patent. (I graduated from law school with a specialization in Intellectual Property ;) )

@RebeccaKeppel she's a vile woman and I won't support her. Ive seen some nasty comments shes made to people online. Just because through some technicality you can do something, doesn't make it right. I've never heard of any other craft company that has made it a point to sue like she does, like shes known for it. I will continue to use my tim holtz stamping tool in lieu of her overpriced tyranny.
