I run led strip lights on the inside of my canopy and then porch string lights around the edge. I have a jackery to plug my lights into.

Prayed for Barbara. My husband had open-heart surgery last year. Recovery isn’t the easiest or super fast, but he was back to work after about 5 weeks, which isn’t bad.

He was back at work at a desk job, but he wasn’t 100% for a couple more months. They get you up walking within a day of surgery, and there was at-home physical therapy and nursing visits, which was very helpful.

I also made the chicken coasters! Took me so long to figure out how to fix the pattern errors 😩. I just have it folks can buy them one at a time and make sets how they want. The little flower cow is so cute! Can’t wait for you to make another one so I can see if the pattern is designed for that darling head turn you got or if it was a happy accident . Made 4 of those cows so far. They are super cute. I did a 2 with the looking to the side. The other two I added a st or 2 that made it more centered.

AS for lights -- I recently learned about tape lights that are powered by USB. They are sold at Daiso. But I also see them at Amazon. I was thinking we might use these to power our parade decorations.

You should check out a tutorial for chicken coasters from Crystal's channel called Bag O Day Crochet. I haven't had any issues making them with her pattern.

I’m so impressed with the sculpting on the head and the use of bobbles. Can’t wait to see what you create with it!

I have the same Chicken coaster pattern and had the same issues. I reached out to the pattern creator and asked her if she happened to have an updated pattern because of the inconsistencies. She immediately responded that she would test the pattern herself and get back to me. The next day, she responded that she was happy to refund my money because she couldn't figure it out either. LOL I did finally come up with my own solutions, but it was not a very peaceful place in my head for a while.

Love your videos. I pattern test for crochetby Genna and love her mallard ducks. I also pattern test her no sew dragon and it's so easy. It is a quick work up for the dragon both in mini and large. I am making more for an anime market. Thank you for sharing your makes. Sending prayers for Barbara.

I do markets in Miami Florida. And I have the weight bags. I don’t think putting rocks in them will break them very easily. So my recommendation is to use sand.

Thinking of you Barbara. ♥ I just wanted to say that I have an issue with some patterns as well. I buy one and then have to figure out what it means. Why can't people just write a pattern properly instead of trying to make up their own terms? My daughter just sent me a few pages of a pattern she bought and asked me to see if I could work it out. Well ,,, after 5 or 6 tries at it we are both confused. She has written the "designer" on Etsy and asked for a refund. We'll see how that goes. I see a bad review in her future. That flamingo is so stinkin' cute!
