Your points about motivation, the desire to improve and reflection about the areas where you are seeing improvement in your own performance are all reminders of the good that has come out of this 'forced' slow down. Bravo. Older. Wiser, Faster ;-) (oh, and the tech piece - specifically your comments about brands having a go at the new, and pushing the envelope are also good grist).

Great vlog + mini unboxing. Hope the rider updates keep coming as its given some insight on how the team in Aus have been approaching this weird situation over the past few months, but I totally get that putting these videos out there unfortunately requires a 'thick skin', however big respect for doing so! This is a pretty good review. The Rapha powerweave shorts is kind of overpriced for what it has to offer. If I have to spend that much, I would buy X-Bionic anytime.

Same for me as far as motivation goes...setting all time marks for training...not sure if there will be racing in the states at all...

I have a pair of Assos Campionissimo bibs that also have no panels on the legs. Much like your description, you really feel the compression. What I noticed is that the fabric bunches up some right where your leg bends above the thigh when you 1st start to ride which feels a little annoying. After you ride and sweat a little, the feeling diminishes and sort of goes away. In other words I don't like the feeling until well into the ride, then they are fine. Wondering if you had anything like this with these Rapha bibs?
