this was a praise break at New Day in 1987 my Mother Thelma V. Jenkins was Leading service, my aunt the late Mother Margret L. Steele started singing "I promised the Lord that I would hold out" We have always praised God at New Day and still do....

I grew up in the church like this. I pray I find one like this again. Im a backslider and struggling to find my way back to true Holiness. Pray for me folks.

I too cried watching this video. Folks really had the holyghost back then and they understood what the holyghost is. Today folks think it is some fancy footwork or thats all they come to the temple for now days. Back then the mothers would Praise Him till they were drenched in sweat. The danced until Heaven fell down to meet them at their point of need. My God we need this again in our churches.

This is the Era when you could feel the glory a block away from the church. They were real back then and they didn't master the art of fakeing. I miss this.

She wanted to sing and play beating the mic with the tambourine all you hear is tambourine lol...Church is to business like now no spirit anymore.

This was when cell phones didn't take over the nation. Folks didn't sit in church with their face in their cell phones like today. They actually praised the Lord back then.

This type of church is coming back... there’s a generation that’s coming with this ol’ landmark way... I am one of them. God has stirred me chastened me and put my feet where the need to be.... I am ready to awaken with my brothers and sisters !

What's the matter with the saints now.. No more fasting.. No more prayer meetings... No more home bible studies... No more all night shut ins. NO MORE POWER. It hurts

You had to grow up in old school church to appreciate the fact that the musician is playing something totally different from what she singing at certain parts lol... That's CLASSIC!! Lol How I miss this purity of faith... :-)
