In this episode of This Locality That Project we will be reviewing Dronagiri in Navi Mumbai. Dronagiri is an emerging node surrounded by the coastal town of Uran in its West and the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) at its North, near the Uran wetlands. Nice video. As far as CC and OC are concerned for properties within 50 metre distance from mangroves, cidco has already started giving OC to existing properties which are constructed as per old planning. Also, there are many other major developers like Akshar, Villa, Aai, Kamdhenu, etc. Dronagiri is largest node of Navi Mumbai currently having 64 sectors and more to come. Phase 2 of Nerul - Uran line will start at end of 2020 for sure. Work of Uran, Dronagiri and Gavhan station is more than 60% completed.

Due to Covid outbreak railway projects got delayed, now it may take upto 2022 end or 2023. Although work are in good progess.

The issues related CRZ AND Mangroves are resolved by CIDCO, cidco is taking approval from Mantralaya and issues CC and OC
