I’m not one who typically comments but I’m really tired of the petty people who use these platforms to make mean comments and judgements. You are amazing and I am so glad that I found you. You inspire me to be better. To make an effort when it comes to my appearance. I just turned 62 last week and I work from home where no one sees me, but why shouldn’t I make the effort everyday to look and feel my best?! I always have a better day when I make the effort to put on a favorite outfit and put in my face! Thank you again for everything you do for us older ladies.

I'm 57 and I've been working from home (primarily) for the past 3 years. I put on makeup and jewelry for work, even if I'm home. Makes me feel good and gets me in the right frame of mind for the day! Thanks Nikol for your honesty and you're aging beautifully!!

Just be you Nikol. You are beautiful. I am 74 and my husband is in care with advanced dementia. My eyebrows and eyelashes fell out because of the stress. I’m now taking care of myself much better now and what a difference it makes. You make it OK to be over 60 and 70 and fabulous. Best wishes to you.

Oh my goodness! Aging beats the alternative! I just turned 70. I never thought I would live to be this old! The extra years are such a blessing for which I am so grateful! Yes, wrinkles are becoming a part of my facial landscape, but my focus is to be happy, healthy, and proud of the experience that shows up in my face and body! Healthy aging is beautiful!

I think of this all the time. I’ll be 72 in March and I think about all the people who didn’t get to enjoy all the years that I have. I’m grateful and blessed for all God has given me. But I know whenever I die, young or old, it is gain. Because I’ll be with Him. To live forever is not the goal. To live with grace and faith in our Holy Father, believing in salvation, is all that matters.

I think gracious aging is just about looking as healthy and rested as you can, a little light make up and a smile. We all age differently and our lives are reflected in our faces. As other commenters have stated, aging is a privilege, we are so lucky to be able to experience it.

Nikol, you have done an AMAZING job teaching us about life, womanhood, and makeup. I feel for you. I had endometriosis all over my abdomen. I had a full hysterectomy at 38. I'm 55 now, so I feel your pain with the changes. I'm sorry you have so many negative comments. People can be cruel and it isn't fair. Keep your chin up and just get some rest too. We all love you! Thank you for NOT using fillers and botox. I made a consious decision not to use these products as well. Everyone around me does. I'm totally fine with natural aging. Keep doing what you're doing!

I really needed to hear what you had to say… I tend to give myself enough grief over my aging skin and really don’t need to hear all the static and confusion we’re bombarded with every day. Everyone has a story! You can’t look at someone and know what they’ve been through and/or are going through. Health issues in particular do a number on your skin, add in hormonal issues from “normal” aging, or worse and one has all they can do to maintain their skin, their looks. Women need to support other women! This has been my mantra and we need to spread it!

I'm 69 and in the last year my face has really aged The last 2years my husband has had cancer Stage 4 He has been through so much Very stressful. It really took a toll on me too. He's been in remission for 5 months. Time to take care of me. I love your channel Nikol I think you are beautiful . You inspired me to go grey a year ago. So glad I did.

I saw the title with "New Diagnosis..." and was alarmed. Nikol, you're always so honest and transparent, so I am relieved to learn it was a commenter's "diagnosis" 😅 rather than news. Of course, your face has changed in the 14 years you've been providing videos. I mean, who hasn't, right? When I discovered your channel in 2016, I thought you were impossibly beautiful and your look would be unduplicatable by almost everyone. But you do things right. And frankly, watching your face mature over the years (as Ive watched mine, my daughter's, and my friends' faces mature) gives me perspective and the confidence that I can still look my best and feel my best about my looks as the years pass. Thank you for just being human. I made the choice myself to not do fillers or anything and just age. I will be 50 this year and the amount of information thrown at you about how you "should" look or how you need to stop the signs of aging is exhausting. I'm in the same peri-menopausal boat. My periods are erratic and when they do come they are heavy. HEAVY. I've noticed a loss of muscle tone more than anything. I am also losing weight generally but I'm carrying more weight around my middle. Aging is tough for a woman because society only values our beauty and youth. We have so much more to offer than society gives us credit for.

I just want to say sincerely that I love your channel. I love the way you talk about things and how you explain stuff and how you make make up fun and relaxed and not stressful. I like how you try different products but you stay within your color palette for your face and skin and I like how you explain all the different steps to come out with this complete look, and that you start completely bare so that we can all see that we’re normal just like you. I am 55 years old and I have learned a ton from your channel plus I just like your attitude about everything so don’t pay attention to the haters because they’re just gonna do what they’re good at, hate. And you know what they’re not worth your time you’re doing what you’re designed to do and you’re helping a ton of women and your products are special and intentional and I have learned a lot. What you said at the end of the video is how I've approached ageing in my 70s. Everyone ages differently depending on numerous factors & I think heredity plays a huge part so thank you mom & dad. I also beleive in listening to my skin & hair & doing what's best for them.. On another note do not listen or read what people say about you. You are absolutly gorgeous. Please don't pay any attention to the negative comments. We appreciate your honesty. I had a complete hysterectomy when I was 29 from endometriosis. Don't be afraid of HRT if you eventually have surgery. The estrogen patch is great. It really helps the skin as well. I understand your pain. Stay positive!!😊

I'm 72 and I feel good about myself. I don't have young skin and I try to take care of the skin I have. I think you look great without makeup. I'm glad to hear that you embrace your life. As we get older there will always be new aches and pains crop up each week (as it seems.) Be happy with your life. I always think of the alternative.

I just turned 74 yesterday (Feb. 8th) and the aging process is real. I'm blessed with good skin for which I'm thankful, but is it sagging a bit, yes. It is part of aging and it's inevitable, so I accept it for what it is, always trying to look my best. Women have it so much harder when it comes to aging than men, so I appreciate all the info you give us to stay ahead of the aging game!

Ah, unkind remarks. I'm 84 and taking care of my beloved husband of 64 yrs whom has dementia. Today while grocery shopping I was asked why do I look so tired. Am I ill. Yes, a broken heart. So, like you said. I'm doing the best I can. Actually, your video's help take me away from my pressure. Thanks

You’re fabulous…you are beautiful and have great hair! I am 65 on the outside and 35 inside. My spouse and I just developed an alternative/rock radio station, submitted all the paperwork and were approved and awarded a spot on the dial! We are now in the process of building. We don’t think about our ages. I know the negative Nancys are not always easy to ignore. Just keep being you and carry on! You are an inspiration to so many of us both older and younger. My makeup is better because of you, and I feel better about my look, thanks to you. You are still rocking it! ❤❤❤

I was just having similar thoughts about my own aging. I’m 51 and everything has changed. I’m having hormone issues and autoimmune issues which has caused hair density and acne issues. I was asking myself if I’m going to choose to go through this with grace or choose to fight against what is. I’m doing my best to choose grace. Women need to build each other up! That’s what you’re doing with your channel and I appreciate it!

I just received my order which included the coconut row. Because I have Alopecia and my whole face is a blank canvas, this product is a WOW! It gives my face definition that other bronzing sticks do not. Also, a shout out for the brow pencil. I final used up other pencils and purchased Nikol’s. It definitely makes brow hairs. A must for someone without brows.

I have enjoyed my new age journey of letting my hair go gray, embracing my not so perfect body and staying conscious by keeping a healthy diet and exercise routine. Oh Nikol, fellow aging woman here! I turned 50 in August and it was like a switch went off, EVERYTHING changed what seemed like over night! I barely recognize the reflection in the mirror but I am choosing to be gentle with myself and i keep reminding myself that aging is such a privilege and a blessing. I have always taken my hat off to youtubers like yourself for "putting" yourself out there during such a time like peri/menopause. I applaud and respect you for it! Keep shinning cause guess what? Thank goodness you aren’t being sucked into the negativity of aging. I turn 76 next week, and just grateful to be here. I do my best to keep up my appearance, but I try to love myself where I’m at and NOT obsess about aging. So many serious problems as we age, but a wrinkle isn’t one of them.

I am almost 60. My skin changes constantly. One product that worked for me a year ago, won’t work now. I do the best I can. That’s it. Menopause caused me to have anxiety, depression, low energy. I do the best I can. Period! I love you Nikol. Keep on trucking……😍

Hi Nikol, Having worked in hospitals for 45 + years, the one thing I learned was to NEVER guess what , or if anything was going on with someone. The person "giving advice" usually ended up looking like a fool. You, taking care of you, is perfect. I'm 71, getting back into makeup again, and it's fun. Learning to slow down is a challenge. Using makeup again was part of my slowing down process. You'll get the hang of it.. I really like the products I've purchased so far.... take care.

I do not typically comment but what you said is something all women feel. We will put on a brave front, tell them to “piss off” but negative comments still upset us. You are a beautiful woman regardless. Regardless of age, of stress, of disease. The fact that you are still pushing through barriers means you’re also strong. I and a lot of other people appreciate you. So keep telling them to piss off and mind their own road.

I love my gray hair. I wear a pixie style cut. No more hair dyes, no more roots. Aging is hard. Yesterday I was 27, now I'm 65. How did it go so fast? Live day by day. One day at a time. We're alive. That's special.
