I tried Elixir today and it's interesting. I'm not a fan of Sauvage , it's too common but the Elixir is definitely something to perhaps purchase . Thanks for the review , I'm enjoying your videos

@@papistyle6479 And I am one of them. I hate Sauvage EDT EDP. That ambroxan in them gives me a headache. But Elixir has become my favorite perfume. It smells like a niche, luxurious.

Savauge Elixir smells different enough that it could have had its own name. I like that it smells different to the other offerings and that it's expensive. That way, it won't be too common...or so I hope

I just got this and I’m in love with it!!! The cool down is we’re it’s at that lavender comes through and so relaxing and refreshing. It is a little bottle and on the expensive side at $155 that’s in the niche price range. It smells more pure like the ingredients are real. Super Fresh!

I think the best way to describe elixr is PURE ELEGANCE. 2 sprays in the morning and it will be there before bed. Wild.

Yes. The Elixir is awesome, but keeping it down to 3 sprays is almost a must.

They’re great!! Pick your favorite after sampling them. The Elixir is crazy strong compared to the others, for better or worse.

Yeah, the EDT is not as potent as the first bottle I had a few years ago. Still smells good , but does not last very long.

I agree, my 2017 bottle lasted at least 3 days on a clothe, then my 2019 bottle dissapear in a few hours.

Ah yes, I remember the time when people would tape down a can of Axe in middle school and smell up a whole room of it as a prank. Those were the times, back when i I thought that I was cool because I could record my own ringtone to not have to pay for one on my Casio G'zOne Boulder.

Sauvage is my fav colonge. I normally use the parfum. But i recieved the toilette as a bday present. Sooo i use BOTH AT THE SAME TIME, 2 SPRAYS OF EACH. Compliments all the time. Its the perfect combo

EDT is stronger but lasts not very long, EDP not as strong but lasts longer, Elixir more of middle eastern take on Sauvage and lasts longest

It lasts SO long. I was out with someone one night and her dog sat in my lap for maybe 10 minutes, he still smelled like Elixir the next day! Whoops!

I agree Papi. I got a bottle and my first sniff I thought it smelled feminine. An hour later it was more spicy and less feminine. I feel like it’s spicier than the original and not as fresh. Both are good but they are different. I feel like the original is more wearable

Very different, and you're right the original is definitely more wearable. I like this one more but it's not a whenever fragrance like the EdT original.

The EDT and the EDP of Sauvage let me down. They are both too sharp. That said I hesitate to give the Elixir a shot. It's great though that you love it.

@@shyguy778 I’ve been trying to track down samples of requests I’ve had here, but I don’t have that EDP yet. Elixir is way too strong. I think I prefer that original EDT the most, but even that isn’t a daily driver for me by any means.

considering the performance of elixir and that you only need 1 spray ( 2 max) for all day projection i really don't think it's that overpriced .. it is niche quality. Not saying i don't wish it was only $75-$80 for a 60ml bottle, sure everyone wishes that

Reformulation talk is mostly bullshit. I don't get femininity from Elixir at all, but then again I prefer Parfum to EDT. The online reviews of Elixir are the most positive of any of them. The hate is mostly from people who haven't tried it and hate the EDT for various reasons.

I own this. It’s super over hyped. It has great strength but the smell is alright. It’s definitely worth it but at NO MORE THAN 100 dollars. After that definitely not worth it. Definitely smells super mature not for a young person.

All very very fair criticisms. I love it but it's overpriced and admittedly a bit strong for a lot of occasions.
