Instead of being the sole owner of a property, you can purchase one or several months and be the primary owner during the months you purchase. You basically share it with owners of other months. The advantage is that you can be the deeded owner of a fraction of beachfront property at a much lower price than if you were to solely purchase the entire unit

Yes, as a deeded owner you can sell your fraction at any time, just like any other property you own

The minimum fraction is 1 month (and there are 13 "monthly" periods per condo. So if all owners of a unit purchased just one month, there would be 13 owners. However typically, some owners purchase more than a single month
