I think that Mattel has gotten so good with faces lately thanks to all the unique sculpts they do for the Fashionistas, so I'm not surprised they did such a good job on Mother Gothel! She really looks like they plucked her straight from the movie!

I love the dress on the new Mattel 1 and the accessories ❤❤❤ wow Mattel even beats Disney store for me 😱 not surprised I like the Mattel over Hasbro 1 😉

I can tell when hair is Saran when it’s curly. Sort of when it’s straight as well. So I was easily able to tell her hair is Saran.

The Disney Store Mother Gothel you have is actually the 2014 release (her 3rd doll). The original Disney Store doll doesn't have glitter on her dress and actually has the renaissance style sleeves!!! The Mattel doll looks really pretty, I can't wait to get her!

Oh I know there were two of them made but I didn’t realize they had made three! Thank you for letting me know-I couldn’t remember which one I had and Googled it but obviously didn’t get the research right 😅

I love the Disney store version. Mine does not have glitter on her dress. I prefer the Disney store doll's face. They all look quite cool in their own way.

I bet the previous version of Mother Gothel without her glitter dress looks more like her. I didn’t realize my Disney Store version was the last one they had made of her. And yes there are cool elements in each one of them 😄

She has the same face as the glitter version. I think it is a great face. I have never seen the glitter version but glitter or no glitter she is my favourite of the 3!

@@darklight4251 I think it’s definitely the glitter that makes me like her less as I can’t stand the feel of stiff glitter. Maybe I should switch their outfits!
