Pretty nice rugged phone for your everyday construction worker but 720p ips display is just unacceptable today in 2022 in my honest opinion.

I don't mind the ips part since it's a budget and rugged phone but in my opinion at least a 1080p ips panel to make it worth it. But since it's probably a low priced phone I guess you get what you pay for.

I've looked into some of these rugged phones. They don't look half bad. That phone looks like it can be dropped off a building and still be functional.

I mirror your thoughts! The Doogee phone has cut a niche for itself. The mediatek SoC and bigger battery are great inclusions here.

It's funny to see that companies like those actually can offer slightly more software wise than xiaomi for example - i know cause i use a xiaomi. MIUI needs innovation in my opinion, for the global versions at least!

8gb RAM is solid. Most budget brands hold back on RAM before everything else. We still have some selling phones with 2gb and that wasn't enough 4 years ago.
