@@noobita4983 the rules are simple. And yes the striker going into the pocket in a regular game would be a foul. It seems this is a variation of carrom that doesnt have that rule

Different rules also, 1.Can't strike behind the lines, 2.not allowed to touch opponents piece with touching own 3. no half circle hits 4. Not allowed to move your stool To be honest it's far difficult than international rules. Personally i would like to mix Boric powder with this dental powder.

It is not to "perfect" an already existing game but rather to create variations of the game to fulfil their wishes. Its fine. Sometimes it is driven by the environment they live in. eg- gully cricket is slowly becoming a professional sport. Originated in the gullies of india, it quickly amassed popularity

From what I can tell so far it's a type.of fine sand. Idk if you have ever seen a table shuffle board before but they use metal disc that float on a sand like grade of sand maybe tad more fine than salt.
