In our latest podcast, we speak with Dr. Zheng-Yi Chen, Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Chen is leading the world in the field of hearing and treatments. Currently, there are no drug treatments for hearing loss. Dr. Chen and his team have now developed a potential treatment for treating hearing loss and to regenerate hearing. This can revolutionize the future of how we treat hearing loss.

The FX-322 from Frequency Therapeutics was failing the long term tests at hospitals. Unfortunately they gave up researching. Hopefully Dr. Zheng is continuing his own development with success.

@@technicalrider6196I wouldn't be so sure of it :( it requires millions and millions of dollars to mantain this kind of researching. If there's a cure available to all the world, probably will be very expensive. But hey, if this is something that will cure our hearing or tinnitus, I'd pay whatever it costs

My fathers hearing was lost after he had a surgery and was given a high dosage of antibiotics. I researched and found this is what caused the loss of stereocillia in the ear. It's been three years since his surgery, he is growing depressed and I can't communicate with him like we used to. We can't listen to music, he can't participate in conversations at dinner. He also developed early stage dementia and cannot learn ASL. Please Dr. never give up on your research.
