That's a teapot insert at 18:20. Place loose tea leaves in it, insert it into the top of a teapot and brew your tea. I'd lay odds it's out of a McCormick teapot. I know the cave was used by native Americans as a rock shelter. You need to dig and sift the dirt from the floor. Any artifacts will be burned beneath the surface. I'm sure you'll find at least Flakes in there if it hasn't been dug previously

Yessir it is quite rare glad Josh found that. Definitely will be a good dump to dig when privy’s are not happening. Lots of privy permissions coming up in the future.

A very good guess but I’m just not sure. I’ve dug thousands of stoneware items and even a pink glass ladle which I still have not until now pulled a stoneware ladle I wonder if at one time the handle was longer? It’s so worn down if it was the person broke it and continued using it for many years. I appreciate the suggestion and continued support. 😁

When trav jr and myself both saw the cave after hiking miles on steep terrain it was so amazing. 🥲 and then to just briefly explore the mouth of it was a really cool experience. I can’t wait to go deeper in the chambers and see what else is there.

There is NO WAY I would have gone in that “cave” what if some animal was overwintering in there? Nope, nope, nope! 😮 Y’all got some cool finds tho. Speaking of finds, while going through some of my late moms stuff, I found a old similac can with a bunch of clay marbles. It sits on my hutch, for now.

Oh how cool a whole can of marbles yessss 🥰 and it would have certainly been interesting if we had encountered a hibernator 😂. Maybe we still will it goes pretty deep into the mountain from what I could tell.

Oh man I love caves and trav still doesn’t have that fear either so we are gonna explore it together. I can’t wait and I am hoping to be able to find some hieroglyphs or arrow heads something Native American just to film and document it would be incredible. Big bucket lister of mine.

Brother I don’t believe you have been charged for the tumbling yet no sir. If they finish before you get back I will hold for you and let you know. I’m pulling two today and then I believe your next on the list if not there may be one more run in front of you. Hopefully I can get a 3rd canister this year and speed up my tumbling.
