- In this video I am making an Acrylic Spray Paint background and on top of that a 'dry' Dutch Pour.
When the painting was dry I loved how the spraypaint dried, gorgeously matt. It gave me the idea to create an extra 3d and contrasting effect; applying High Gloss Varnish only on the Dutch Pour part. I am seriously so happy with the outcome. I would love to hear your thoughts!

The contrast between the gloss and matte finishes, as well as the contrast between the dark colors and pops of gold is just magnificent. (It makes me feel some kind of emotion I can't explain, to be honest). Would you consider doing a series of these?

Rinske WOW!!! I started watching your channel about a month ago really for the brush painted art but after watching you do this pour I would really love to give pouring another go. I haven’t done a pour in 3 years. Our home and farm was destroyed by the “Black Summer” bushfires and we lost so much on New Years Eve 2019. We are slowly rebuilding and I hope to have a new home, which contains a large studio for me, next year. We live in a shed at present and although it is very comfortable it’s quite small. Art is my therapy and watching and listening to you is a pleasure.

I love the contrast of the matte and the gloss. I’m love the composition, the colors…I love everything about it! I am always thrilled when you show a new technique.
