I just cant believe they made yet another dex race. They could have made eladrin a wisdom race. I just feel like the game is too loaded with dex bonuses right now.

@@WizardventuresTTV exactly! Make them a wisdom race please. But no now going to have yet another elf variant and another +dex start race. and another +dex past life feat! Dex will have +5 racial feat bonuses while str has 1, cha has 3 and other stats all 2. WTF is with STG?!?

Eladrin makes sense given the expansion setting. No idea why people were expecting kobolds or githyanki for an expansion about elvish ruins...

because we are tired of elf variants. Give us something new, not just a fast cheap reskin with some new hair options that they should include for every race already.

Racial caps should have at least been full mass vigor, mass longstrider, mass nightshield - unique things that make the point sink into the racial worth going up for.

The iconic seems great for some classes for stripping immunities. And then they gave it to one of the classes that already easily strips immunities. I suppose SSG wants to sell more +1 hearts

They had the eladrin in the works already, from months ago done… and they needed something to fill in with the expansion to offer. They just threw it into the expansion because it was mostly done and they had to offer something.

The hair options are really cool for Eladrin. Definitely gives them a different flavour.

Great to see more races and iconics. I'm content with Eladrin (and it makes sense with the setting), though I'd definitely love to have Kobold some time.

Again for the third time: A race no one asked about and people will play only to fill the past life. 2 more levels to give us back the power they took from us Love DDO but it have always been hard to understand their decisions. OMG, they can't listen their playerbase, not even once. Since feywild their decisions lack ear the playerbase.

even though they do not have the psionic which were 3.5 Kalashtar was an original race for Eberron. The only one which from the original source which has not been added.

Depending on the season, Eladrin can either be happy(Spring) or angry(Winter). The lack of facial options is disturbing, compared to the amazing Gnome options😅

If it counts as a Elf past life, you won't have to worry about it. Kinda like wood elf and regular elf are the same

@@dressdenblack I'm thinking it will be elf past life too. I mean I wouldn't mind getting another racial action point but I'm sick of elf variants... something really new would be nice. Or Kobolds please. edit: well now other streamers are saying it will have a past life with +dex bonus... just what wasn't needed... like we didn't need more elfs.

When is DDO coming out with a Racial Lesser True Res tome, since there are now so many different races to choose from and would be a better idea than having to TR just to try out a new race, especially if you want to stay at end game, it could follow the lines of Lesser TR in that you keep all your alignments and names and gender.

+2 WIS again ? I think Devs hate WIS-characters. 😫 Well... Won't stop me from playing as the Eladrin Druid. Night Shield is a nice addition into the Druid's spells list. But the rest of Eladrin's T4 are lackluster. And Iconic Eladrin's tree is a mess. 😣

no its +2 dex... would much prefer they make them wisdom. Way too many +dex at creation races, not enough other options. And too many elf variants. drow, sun elf, wood elf, shadar kai, half elf, regular k. elf, and now Eladrin.

@@middleagedgamers7750 I've ment Eladrin's Feats and Enhancements. You can get up to +4 to INT/CHA but only +2 to STR/DEX/WIS.

@@Obcenbky yeah thats typical of course for a race with a +dex racial bonus. They do hate wisdom/str and seem to love cha and dex characters. weird that they only let you select int/cha and not dex also for enchantments that seems odd choice for having a natural +2 dex racial start. It's like they really don't think about the racial tree's at all.

I'm glad SSG keeps the game updated but wow it's been nothing but low effort trash since IoD. Wild Magic was so underwhelming and now this elf reskin? Myth Draynor deserves better and so do we! I might just be done with this game

So basically they are an elf with a slight reskin at most... basically SSG went cheap and easy on us. Yet another dex race??? I'm hoping that changes and that they really just did an elf reskin fast and didn't change racial bonuses yet... because another dex race is not needed. Already disappointed big time.

agree but I'm hoping the race tree is place holder stuff for now. Entire race needs to be put on shelf and something else if you asked most the players. It won't happen. SSG won't listen to players.
