To me for most rifle scopes a torture test would be a strong break barrel. I know even some high end scopes can’t take it for long but some do. I have a few UTG scopes that were a little less than 200$ that work great on a break barrel. Just a thought if you really want to try and break it that would be a great start.

Your absolutely right, don't forget about discovery optics, they can take brutal beating and still nothing is wrong with it...I have utg also, no problems out them 2016 and still going

Leapers utg scopes and discovery optics are the best so far, i wanna see see this nexus on some hatsan break barrel, you beat on a tree with those discovery optics and nothing happens, 2016- and there still going since the time i purchased them....elements seem like a good optic, wanna see them on some heavy duty break barrel

I'm on the fence between this or a Tract Toric; I have a Titan and Helix and love them both.

The Tract Toric has German Schott glass and a hell of a lot more total elevation travel with over 160MOAs or 47MILs for under $1500. Thinking your Helix and Titan are scopes you love that's definitely not saying much and seems like you have very low expectations to begin with and never tried any of the better quality brands and scopes such as Athlon Midas Tac 6-24x50 or Ares BTR G2 4.5-27x50. The Athlon Ares BTR G2 was actually better than the Nexus 5-20x50 when both were compared side by side at 5-20x magnification and fir less than half the price too.
