My Granddaughter is 17 now and she is very interested in makeup. I'm going to teach her this Summer. She doesn't need to do too much because she's 17. But I've been giving her skincare in her Christmas beauty box (my version of Boxycharm/Ipsy) since she was 12. But I'm pretty sure the brand im going to go with is ELF. Their dupes are PHENOMENAL

im 17 too and ive been interested in makeup recently as well, ive been doing my research and watching reviews and looking into ingredients of products and elf is very affordable and a great choice! im thinking of buying this satin foundation, the ingredients are really good and for only 8 bucks? absolutely

@@eersatzz I came to KZfaq specifically to learn makeup applications correctly. Back then we were putting makeup on like spackle 😂. And I was grown grown but I wasn't confident with makeup. I learned a lot. Some of the stuff I learned in the beginning I let go of because it wasn't what I wanted my makeup to look like. Now I am confident in knowing what makeup trend works for me and what doesn't. So I think the makeup tutorials are a Great place for you to start

@@eersatzz Oh! The one thing that probably made the biggest difference to my makeup is my skincare. Back in the day no one was talking about skincare. Because of my skincare regimen I don't need as much foundation and concealer as I used in the beginning. If you have any issues with your skin research skincare products for the issue. I don't know if ELF has a lot of skincare products but I know that Juvias Place does. Rare Beauty is also reasonably priced. Also The Ordinary is priced reasonably

@@Tmac19635 skincare is hear is also really important, ive been trying to clear my face up before i get into make up cuz i dont plan on doing FULL full faces, just simple basic no makeup makeup looks so id like to get clear smooth healthy skin first 🫶🏼

I knew this foundation was good, I went directly to Elf’s website upon the release. Too reluctant to choose a shade online. And did not see darker reviews here on KZfaq. SIDE NOTE: So glad you reminded her I’d requested a review of this foundation from her because we’re ‘shade-twins’.

I got that same shade at Walmart. And yes, it’s really nice. Looked great on me. Looks great on you. Great price. It’s just not going to be used in 112 heat right now. I’m going to wait until October.

You say you have oily skin? And it held up on you? Nice! That's interesting because I saw a review from another whobalso has oily skin and he didn't approve. Would you say it might be your new alternative to your beloved discontinued born to glow? Better yet would you do a tier comparison of affordable drugstore foundations?

ummmm, why i thought you already had on foundation at the beginning of the video! Skin is skinning. The foundation looks good too, but you don't need it.
