Welcome back to my KZfaq channel, and thanks for watching! After a long 6 month journey of selling our old home, renting an apartment, and finishing construction on our new home - we finally got the keys! I am going to be showing you all a few progress pictures from start to finish during the build, the excitement we had on closing day (12/22/2020) and of course an empty house tour! It is definitely a waiting game, but so worth the wait! We had a few delays and were originally supposed to close 2 weeks prior, but it all worked out in the end. Congrats on your new home 😃

This is my first visit to your channel. You guys picked great selections and lot! I’m so happy for y’all we are also building and are almost finished with the framing! I love watching happy, blessed, black and brown couples excelling (not excluding and one our children and community just need to see more of these!) I love that blue siding and the yellow door too! Somehow this popped up onto my you tube feed today and I am so glad I watched. Beautifully done home. I really love the shelves in the laundry room and the double shower heads in the primary bathroom. You have so much space for storage all over the house! I love the music also. I am normally kind of a tightly wound person, but after watching and listening, I feel so relaxed and happy.

Mrs. Barrie my daughter just bought the same model. They are so excited. Not sure why but I got emotional when you said it was closing day. Hey there! This is our 2nd Ryan Home and I love it! My only con with a newly built Ryan Home is the interior flat paint that they use - it smudges so easily. Other than that, we haven’t had any issues. Most stuff is covered under warranty at least for a year - longer HVAC I believe. I hope this helps! I hope to do a Q & A soon, so please follow me on IG to get your questions in when the time comes 😃

From signing the contract to closing day was right at 6 months 😃

The home is holding up well! We haven’t had any major issues and the ones we have had, most have been covered under the warranty. 🙂

I hope you get an answer on this... a lot of you tubers don’t like to share that type of information but I think they should do people understand value and expenses. :) especially if you want to achieve the same goals.

All I can say is I hope you made a walk through. I have a Ryan home and I had to stay on them from day one. Get ready for some real BS from warranty people. Me personally I wouldn't recommend Ryan at all.

This is our 2nd Ryan home, and we didn’t have any real issues with our first. Hopefully, everything goes smooth this time too. I’m sorry you had to go through all that 😑

@@mrs.barrie thank you but I've made up my mind. If I'm going to spend that type of money on a home it must be a custom home from here on out. I've dealt with a few home builders and by far these were the worse. I flew to headquarters outside of Pittsburgh to talk to these people with pictures to show what they are doing. Trust me we love the style of the home but the quality was subpar. But I'm glad your experience has been great but we can't say that because I had to go behind them to correct mistakes they were to slack to finish. Sorry about the rambling. Enjoy your new home and congratulations.
